[Closed] NL4 77 vs AA right to shove when hit on Flop?

Interesting hand in so many ways :-). Villain may think about this hand before slow playing AA pre-flop next time. If he had reraised to $0.48 would you have seen the flop??

But to your question.
What in villains calling range hit that flop hard enough for you to not be ahead?
If we assume pocket pairs or suited broadways you are only behind 99. We probably have to assume he would not make the call with 86.

So what are you protecting against?

If he is bad player, which you may have had evidence of, then he would likely be willing to go broke with TPTK or an over pair.

So IMO, if the above assumption is correct, the shove is OK here, but for value rather than protection.

If you didn't think he would call your shove (which is hinted at by your mention of protection) you could consider calling and then shoving the turn. Your goal is to figure out the best way to get all the chips in the middle.

Well, I guess I wouldn't shove directly. ♦ But I'd rather 3bet ~$1,50 or something similar and let him finish it off. ♦ No point to Call it anyways while being OOP.

Sorry for the lack of a little bit information that I had on my vallian: 11/3/0.3/54/147 [VPIP/PFR/AF/WTSD/Hands] which I based on for a little bit to make decision.

Actually, I would Fold if he 3bet on Flop ♦!
I might be overplayed on the Flop, because of misreading his range and shove here to protect my hand, instead of betting for value.

PS: Don't worry, it's the same to me ♦ to post comment in Hand Evaluation section for homework. It takes time and effort to read, understand and give comment on others' hands, but it could improve your play somehow.
