Ok, everything is fine and dandy untill the turn. That is where i get a bit lost in these kind of situations. And i have a few questions regarding them and this hand is a perfect example.
Now i dont know, if it's just the limits im playing or at the platform im on. But i really really rarely get bluffed (or even semi-bluffed) with a check/raise on the turn. And although i'm beginning to play a bit more tight when it happens, i still feel like im seeing the showdown a bit to much when it happens. Like in this situation right here.
When he checks the turn i do a standard value bet and also defend my hand a bit, since it became way to connected and same suited. I feel checking behind is not an option here. But, after he raises i'm having a hard time deciding what to do here.
I think im beat most of the time, caus i have a hard time seeing him raise with anything worse than what i have. Apart from maybe top/middle/bottom pairs with good spades alongside them. But even these hands, most people would just call behind passivelly. But can i just simply fold here? I can't, right?
I went into a calldown (sort of way behind/way ahead) mode during the game, but after evaluating i'm still not entirely sure what is the correct way to play here. Folding doesn't seem right, but on the other hand i can't see myself ahead way to often either.
So yeah, any advice on this hand is really apreciated. And if it's not too much trouble also some advice on check/raised turns in general, caus i have a feeling i'm calling it down with a top pair/overpair way to much (and am usually behind already).
Thanks in advance and have fun
