i really dont like raise calling the flop in your spot, your turning your hand essentially into a bluff and against his range you prob have like 30-35% equity(66+,some overcards +flushdraws) id just call here taking my good pot odds and play along

just got a thought, if we assume the cbetting villain has low went to showdown, maybe turning out 99 into a bluff might be not that bad, as good players would fold 99+ here quite a lot, tho it is probably overplayed.

Why do you raise it on flop? I mean you kinda turned your hand into bluff in this spot. Also at the same time isolating against very strong hands. At the best I'd just Call and reevaluate it on turn.

At some spots if I would have information on the opponent I might just fold here, while not many cards would help us. While better straights already possible/strong made hands possible/FD possible which makes our implied odds worse.
