I used to play numerous satelites on WH (an iPoker site) and when I won into the next level of tourney (sometimes there were 4-5 sub-satelite levels), I always got the WH points based on the rake at the level I just won into. None of these "tickets" were transferable and only applied to the next "level" of tourney which I was automatically entered into and could not withdraw from.

So when I played a $0.55sub-satelite (.05c rake) and then won into a $2.20 satelite I was credited with WH points based on the .05c rake I paid for the first sub-satelite and once I played the next level tourney I was credited with .20c worth of WH points

This is naturally iPoker policy!

so you can register only to MTT tournaments and you don't get points wile playing steps. well that's a waist of time...

got few questions:

1) i didn't receive poker770 points from using tokens but the rake is counted in PS, for example, i raked $3 playing steps using tokens, i got 15 PS points, could anyone confirm this?

2) in order to release the $50 starting capital, i need to rake at least $50 and that's 250 PS points right?

PokerStrategy has not confirmed this to me, but last month I reached Step6 enogh times like to keep Gold status this month... as as you can see I am not Gold anymore

^ i can confirm that you do get PS points from the tokens. yesterday i was only using tokens and got 1.5 PS points for 30c in rake from tokens but the real question now is, does that count towards clearing the $50? but of course i received 0 joker770 promo points no surprise

I can confirm you that WE DO NOT GET PS POINTS FOR TOKENS^
See the communication trascript with PokerStrategy Support in Spanish... if you dont understand english basically they confirmed there are no points for playing with tokens.

Creo que es algo que nos incumbe a todos, nos afecta a todos, tanto subcriptores de la comunidad como tambien a PokerStrategy como empresa... estoy seguro que PokerStrategy no se enteraba de esa fuga de "dinero" y malversacion de puntos porque hasta hace poco algunos del staff creian y decian que las salas de iPoker SI otorgaban esos puntos... y hasta hace tan solo una semana vi a alguien decir que aunque estaba confirmado que iPoker no da esos puntos, PokerStrategy SI da los suyos, lo cual es falso.

After reading threw the thread and further examening the layout of poker770 steps, this is the result!

Going a month only playing steps will result in faulty conclusion of sp, you get sp and promo points cause every time I pay form the bankroll you get point's, but if you use a token I´m not so sure, but I am sure you don´t get promo points from tokens.

Examble:
buy in step 1 is 0,15 + 0,01 = 0,16 * 10 = 1,6 - Rake = 1,5$

total prizepool = 1,5$

2 * tickets to 2 step = 1$
2 * tickets to 1 step = 0,30&
5th place = 0,08$
total = 1,38$ + 0,12$ rake for next steps

and so forth threw the steps.
house takes rake of every player every time.

clearly nothing is free and ps and promo point's should ably here,
in my opinion poker770 hasn´t changed it since august and dosn´t really show any interest in changeing this and compete with other poker sites.

this is my only problem with the site so far, and I think it's ideal for beginners but cheap changing them is a huge down side!
