Seems pretty standard to me, I think if u have weaker kicker we can slowdown a bit, but I think your K kicker has some value, I think u r just a bit unlucky to run into AA.

Rather bet yourself the flop & turn to protect your hand than Check/Call it or whatsoever against that kind of line. :)
