I really like and support this idea. Many people from these countries aren't active in the community because they have problems with English. And as we all know community rocks =)

We  you too Ingrid but sometimes you just gotta let go :f_love:

Finally, this is great idea.
You get one big market, full of people who like to make money quickly :P (as it appears to casual observer)
It's actually bigger then some of the communities you already have

As it is right now, I'm sure we don't have it within our plans to create another 3 communities but this thread definitely helps us to review your needs and would consider making them come true if our resources allow us.

keep them coming
Ingrid

And i would never leave this community even if you open one for every street _love:

I'm in, willing to help with translations. Many of my friends have problems with language and would love to learn to play, and get some of your offers. I'm tired of explaining them procedures and reasons for joining in here. You could expect a lot of new good players from ex-yu (market of around 25 million people).

Most of the Slovenians understand English WAY better than Croatian/Serbian. Myself included. That's why I don't think we would benefit a lot from ex-yu PokerStrategy community.

But as long as there is also an English one, we'll be fine ;)

I support guys the idea but I m a little bit sceptic. Think why? Well, because I think that we can t just look now we have to look also for the future. I think Serbia, Croatian, Bosnian, MonteNegro are very similar and future user will know the language. But if we talk about Slovenians and Macedonian people it is gonna be hard. New generation understand much less Croatian and Serbia and I dont understand Macedonian as any of my friends. We are post war kids so the understanding of the same language will disappear and it will be more and more obvious. We are similar but not the same. So for that reason it would be hard. But I give an advice that PS get with us and every country gets his one site but we sponsor PS. Somewhat of a partner relationship. That would be better for all of us and non party would be damaged. Also PS should think to expand this way in smaller countries. Wish you guys the best of luck.

Hi Sikac,

That was a superb post and well said!

I agree that there are a lot of similarities and that yes in the future we will all be together - let's hope! :)

Mal.

I think it would be a great idea. I suggested to many friends in Serbia to play poker, most of them know english already, but not good enough. So they have difficulties understanding articles and videos so they give up.

I don't agree with Sikac. When you say Slovenians and Macedonians wouldn't understand it, it is true, and you might think it is 2 countries so big percent wouldnt understand it.
The fact is that, Slovenia and Macedonia have only 2 million people. Serbia has 8 million, Croatia 4.3 million, Bosnia 4 million. Besides, there are so many people from EX you who live abroad (due to wars) so there are many people who would like to see "yugoslavian" language. From total of 4 million people from Macedonia and Slovenia, there are many who understand Serbian/Croatian (even young generation), because many of them listen Serbian/Croatian songs, TV, newspapers, so it will always stay this way. That means that only maybe 1 milion people will have problem understanding the language, but will still understand because it is so similar.
