But if you don't have another real job, then of course playing 40 hours a week in normal. Or do you have a real job and play additionally up to 40 hours a week?

Assuming you are a winning player and are using all your studying/thinking time to actually improve more at poker what's wrong with it? I spend hours upon hours pinning insects and pouring over books to work out exactly what species it is, it's one of my favourite things to do in the world (and is my university major!).
I'd say your passion makes you more likely to push on through the tough spots, and more heavily analyse your play when you need it!

this statement is pretty common in live poker "its not a problem [gambling addiction] if u r winning"
yeah i dont think you're addicted... you just love the game right now... i dont think one can actually become really addicted to poker, its different from gambling cuz you dont constantly chase that feeling of winning, you have to have patience to win, in other forms of gambling the patience aspect is not there.
