It depends on the pokersite..... I think at partypoker u can go back immediately, full tilt poker I believe it lasts 30min...

Good luck!

Hi

One week is arround and i have to writte something , also to reflect my pain after todays downswing which was not huge but painfull 10buyins...my stats after 10k on NL100 are equal to 0 exactly -0,03PTBB/100...I dont know what was wrong, but in majority there were bad beats..river hits them nh..

Anyway the downswing would have been even bigger if i wouldnt hit also biggest win in my poker play:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

SB ($106)
BB ($40)
UTG ($97.40)
UTG+1 ($98.85)
MP1 ($52.60)
MP2 ($33.15)
MP3 ($73.50)
CO ($80.65)
Hero ($38.95)

Preflop: Hero is Button with , .
2 folds, MP1 calls $1, 1 fold, MP3 calls $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $6, 2 folds, MP1 calls $5, MP3 folds.

Flop: ($14.50) , , (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets $10, MP1 calls $10.

Turn: ($34.50) (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets $22.95 (All-In), MP1 calls $22.95.

River: ($0) (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $80.40

The good thing is that i will hit platinum status in the next week:)...I actually do not care about the downsing, as i know it will get better and up, just my bankroll is suffering and fall down to 950$..so i am thinking if i should step down to NL50 for some time...but i am not shure as i feel comfortable playing NL100 and i am not scared of this downswing...

As i am going to have holliday next week for 3 days, i feel that it is good like that, that i will relax from poker a little bit and gain some more power:)..I ll try to play 5k hands in the next week on the NL100 if not having +stats, i ll step down on NL50 for 14days...

Yesterday i was so busy so i couldnt update my blog, but anway i just have to say that currently i am on the downswing and i dont know what is wrong, i really dont play bad, but so many bad beats that i am really thinking is this on purpose...maybe should be the time to change platform, playing on NL100 with SSS on FTP is much harder then playing on NL50. My bankroll fall to 700$ and i am just waiting to get the rakeback as otherwise i will be frustrated with such fall...I said i will step back to NL50 for some time just to get my confidence back. I think on NL100 people are much more using stats or probably some other poker tools, as i really do not understand how can i be beaten with 22 or 44 or even 10J so many times against my AA, KK, TT, JJ...Nevertheless i reached "platinum" and i think i will keep it in this month. I will re-read some articles, maybe i will also start studying BSS as i think on FTP play on NL100 is to much tight and i think is better to use BSS and gain more reads as with SSS you are changing tables to much and you can not gain good reads from players. I just woke up and my brains are still not working well, so i will finish here and start preparing for going on work....

Sad to hear you are having a downswing, congratulations with your platinum status though. And it's never wrong to start learning BSS already :)

Good luck!

One week is arround and i am back again. The whole last week was very interesting as i was having a lot of thoughts and thinking about the SSS and my play after previous "downswing week" and i made some serious measures and changes in my play and it seeems that i am doing well...Below you can see my stats after 25k on NL100...The whole progress was made in the last week as up to 15k i had a -0,5PTBB.

I wont go in details what i have changed in my play and how i am playing ;) as this i think this should be kept as my little secret and also i have to test my "upgraded SS strategy play" at least up to 100k hands and then if still doing well i will writte something more detailed.

I just have to say that majority of changes were made in my pre-flop play and my agression factor in preflop play is much much bigger then before. Not that i am stealing, re-stealing, playing loose more but with preflop equity calculation i am pushing more preflop..

Yesterday i was also attending 30.000$ iron man freeroll, but what happened to me was really funny:). The freeroll started at 11PM central EU time and when i started playing i was in bed and i said i will be playing like this ( i have a laptop so no problem with that..)...I was also tired from whole day just humping arround and doing something for work and after 1hour of play i was in 40 position from 270 players (411 players attended) having arround 4500stack and then my eyes were just started closing and closing...and suddenly WTF!! :baby: it was 1AM and my stack was only 400, i was 115/117position...I have found that i was sleeping for at least one hour!!....I knew it was over and i just went all-in with 23o:):) closed my laptop and went to sleep...:):)...

Today some very interesting thing happened to me in one hand...:) On FT there are times when also pros are playing and they are marked with red so that everybody can sees them (new way of marketing:):))..And i was playing in the table with one pro (i wont tell who it is, but it is German pro...).

I had QQ i was on late position, he was on UTG1 and limped (he was playing BSS i assumed according stack size), the MP1 (BSS) raised 4BB, i went all-in as i had only 75% of my SSS stack size...The pro-guy was thinking more then a minute takes also additional time to think :):) and then he folded...The MP1 called me and he showed KJ and the flop was A A 10 5 7..so the flop didnt hit him :)..but the most interesting thing happened that when the pro saw the flop he immediately went out of the table..I assumed he was limping with something like AXs and he was pissed of...In general i can see pros dont like to play with SS players...tobad ;)...:)

hmm, i really forgot, was it surname "Kletze"..or something like that...i actually do not care...but when i ll saw him again, i will let you know, but i dont want to make some promotions for some pros who are earning a lot of money and no need to be additionaly promoted :)

Just to update my blog a little...nothing special, just i am on the downsing in this week:):)...i lost 20buy-ins mostly due to the bad beats...:)..what is normal i think. ..My stats after 45k on NL100 are 1,2PTBB/100.......

What is my plan now is to reduce number of tables playing, i think i am playing it too much (12-16)..not that i dont feel comfortable and i can not manage it, but i know that i must work more on quality then quantity of play (i already wrote that some time ago, but i dont stick to it..) and also i will search for more fishy tables, as i also found that playing tables <25% i am constantly loosing...but the problem is so little FR tables with high PSF...

In general playing on FT is really tough, there are not many bad players on such limit and if you built up some image (people mark you for shure after 45k hands playing on this limit) they will fold you very often to your raises, so i am also thinking to reduce pre-flop bets or include also mini-bets with monsters on the late position or even loosen up in the earlier positions....

i'd say pokerstars, but then again i hate playing vs shortstackers, so stay away!! :P

but nah, is ok... i play SH

(the play at NL100 is horrible though, at least at SH)
