You seem to be pretty frustrated by playing tightly and contradictions between what you see in beginner articles and Leak Buster. Some quick suggestions:
-Stick to the charts and the beginner articles.
-Learn the PS.com basic tight strategy so that you know it inside and out.
-Open as many tables as you can handle strictly using the beginner strategy.
-This builds up a good sample size for Leak Buster
-Instead of looking at the contradictions between Leak Buster and PS.com, find the commonalities and expand your game that way.
-Read an article
-Put into practice
-Repeat
