First hand:
Milked from the teat of a feral cow
PokerStars Limit 5 Card Draw $0.10/$0.20 - 6 players

CO: $3.59
Button: $3.15 (Hero)
SB: $5.43
BB: $5.62
UTG: $4.49
UTG+1: $2.02

Dealing Hands: ($0.15) 6♥ A♦ K♥ T♠ A♣ (6 players)
2 folds, CO raises to $0.20, Hero ???

So what do the masters do here?
I don't more than about 30 hands on this guy, but at the time of this raise, he was 20/4

Spoiler

, SB folds, BB calls $0.10

First Draw: ($0.45) (2 players)
BB stands, CO discards 1, BB bets $0.20, CO calls $0.20

CO mucked
BB showed Q♠ 9♠ 9♣ Q♦ Q♥, a full house, Queens full of Nines
BB won $0.81
(Rake: $0.04)

Second hand:
Feral Cow Poker Hand Converter
PokerStars Limit 5 Card Draw $0.10/$0.20 - 6 players

CO: $3.23
Button: $5.20 (Hero)
SB: $3.52
BB: $6.93
UTG: $4.91
UTG+1: $1.26

Dealing Hands: ($0.15) A♠ K♠ 3♠ A♦ 9♣ (6 players)
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.10, CO folds, Hero ???

Raise? Overlimp?
Very few hands on opponent again. Without the limp I would always here, but during my 3000 hand good run, I wasn't raising anything less than 2pr.

Spoiler

First Draw: ($0.30) (3 players)
SB discards 3, BB discards 4, UTG+1 discards 3, SB bets $0.20, BB folds, UTG+1 calls $0.20

SB showed J♠ 6♥ 6♣ J♦ 5♠, two pair, Jacks and Sixes
UTG+1 mucked
SB won $0.67
(Rake: $0.03)

Thanks in advance...

No master, but here's my thoughts.

Hand 1: My default would be to 3bet here against an unknown because you're ahead of his range. If he calls and discards one I would consider snowing. If he's really playing 20/4 it's an easy fold.

Hand 2: Easy raise. If he calls, fold if he bets post draw however many he discards, otherwise check behind if you don't improve. If he limp/raises, I would seriously consider folding as it's usually a pat monster trying to get action, but you do get very good odds to call.

At 0.1/0.2 first hand is auto-fold against unknown.

People are limping with nothing, calling with nothing but when they raise It's usually a monster unless someone is a total maniac or "Holdem player (cap KK/AA )".

Calling will be ok against QQ+ range, vs JJ+ it might be a marginal (very marginal!) 3bet because even if behind you have chance to outdraw opponent (unless you stand pat and give up so much equity like JB _evil: )

Second normall raise...KK should be enough against most limpers that are sometimes traping or limping with weak 2 pair, but if he limps ~50% you can start with JJA+ on BU.

I try not to call much at FL. If I'm ahead, I want more money in, if not, why would I put any money in at all given how static hand values are?

I said 'consider'. Deception + position > equity (sometimes, and not to be overdone imo).

Funny thing because I was thinking in exactly the same way.
Why call? If I'm ahead - 3bet, if behind - fold.
I even open a thread on 2+2 with this question and some smart guy wrote:

Simple!

You're puting 0.2 to 0.35+0.2 pot = ~36% eq and that's why call>3bet.

First hand- considering stakes + fact that you hold one K (lessens the chance he's holding KK significantly) + small sample I would fold. IMO at 0.1/0.2 there are a lot of other spots where to make money.

Second hand - you have to raise limper and make him pay for all the crap.

Seems reasonable.

This is a good point, but I suppose does suggest a call like Hurricano said.

And btw, I'm probably going to be playing some FL 5CD again to try to rebuild my battered BR. :f_cool:

They don't respect Yours cbet on NL50?

EDIT:
Yea, good point about holding K.
I call this: "reversed kickerology"

If you open raise you definetlly want to have QQAK3 rather than QQ432,
but if someone open raise and his range is JJ+ AA654 >>> AAKQJ

So if you can call with AAxxx because you have 36% equity, you can't with 2233x because you only have 8% equity. Are their any two pair hands you can call with, or is it 3bet once you get to about Q's up?

3322x has ~7% equity only against higher two pair.
I was talking about his whole range.

If opp range is QQ+ and u hold 3322x u have ~7% or less eq vs 2pair+
which is ~7,5% of his range but around ~74% eq vs one pair which is
3*3,25%=9,75% of his range.

Average Equity (3322x vs QQ+):
(0.74*9,75+0.07*7,5)/(9,75+7,5) *100%= ~45%
Please notice that if x is Q/K/A you're even worse :]

AA vs QQ+ I'll do later... :)
