BB: t2440.00 16.27 BBs
UTG: t2255.00 15.03 BBs
Hero (CO): t2100.00 14 BBs
BTN: t4571.00 30.47 BBs
SB: t2134.00 14.23 BBs

Pre Flop: (t225) Hero is CO with A :club: 7 :club:
1 fold, Hero raises to t330, 1 fold, SB calls t255, 1 fold

Flop: (t810) 7  3  T  (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t405.00, SB raises to t1804, Hero calls t1365 all in

Turn: (t4350) 4 :diamond: (2 players - 1 is all in)
River: (t4350) 3 :diamond: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Villain is 15/10/7(steal)/0(3bet)-inf.agg.f-53 hands filtered for 5-6 players. He seems reggish, but he is casual. 1 tabler.

We are getting like 31% pot odds and I think we are fine to make a call with a MP/TP and 1 blocker overcard. Would you go broke here with 66 or 55? or any pair in general, if we, let's say had A3?

This spot seems pretty standard for avg person in SB to c/r AI with a pretty big range. Imho defining this range isn't that easy and I personally would prefer to cb this flop and see what he does on the turn since I expect to be c/raised huge % of the time. He would rarely get off a FD with a broadway card on the flop(-> he`ll c/r that) and a free turn can give me a lot of info on his range.

As played, I guess I call too. Against this villain I`m not b/c AI with A3. He's not spewy enough for me.

But what hands do you expect him to be c/r with? I think, if he wants FE, he will just ship it pre over my steal. Neither he c/shoves flop after I commit myself with a cbet. I mean, his range looks mostly like strong draws/ slowplayed monsters imo. We have an ace though. He probably ships most of his playable aces pre. He is not gonna flat our pre raise OOP w A4 or A7. TT- is a ship pre. I really can't figure a wide range here, but maybe I miss something. We are short, we are both tight, a cbet commits me. I don't see that many bluffs in his range.

I will tell you what he showed up with, I don't think it will ruin the analysis- he had 66. No heart.

i dont want to cbet/call this against a tight player. especially when he might be trapping.

i just check the flop and try get to a cheap SD. as played, guess its a call because he has enough over cards + heart in his range. not a good spot to cb/c though.

yeh, sometimes a 4th heart will come, but you can turn your pair into a bluff occasionally. and get away from it cheap if he gets aggro on the turn/riv
