Hi,
Had this slightly annoying hand come up a while back....
I had TdJd in the HiJack...it get's folded around to me and I just call first in. Arguably a bad move right from the start...maybe should have raised...
Villain (been involved in a lot of pots so far) calls in the CutOff and the BB checks....3 to the flop...
Flop comes down with 2 diamonds and the BB checks...I check...and villain bets. BB folds and I call. Is my check ok here on the flop? There's an overcard out there and two other players still in. My thinking was..."i want to keep these guys in and if my diamond comes out on the the turn I'll bet out"
The turn card comes a blank. I check...villain bets about 2/3 of the pot. BB folds and I call. Now admittedly the pure pot-odds are way off here (2.39 : 1) and don't justify a call. But I was figuring he might have AQ or KQ..
The river comes down my flush card and then all hell breaks loose...I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I called his river 4bet.
What do you guys think of my play here? Thanks!
