Check pre? Player was kind of a tag but not too tight to the point where I would put him on a monster here.

I see absolutely no reason to check pre and that is the worst option u have. A shove here is fine, u could also raise to 3-3.5bb and call to a shove or evaluate postflop.

As played it's not perfect but it's OK and definatel way better than checking

i usually raise pre 3x for max value, shoving is fine, checking is really bad.
