I usually don't bother reading threads like that but yeah, I actually did read all of your posts and from them it's pretty clear to anyone with decent poker knowledge that your poker related logic is flawed thus making it clear why you aren't like those guys who double/triple up their bankrolls in few months.

However from the way how you respond to other posters it's also clearly visible that you keep yourself attached to your bad thinking and are not able to think a bit outside your box which leads me to a conclusion that indeed it is best for you to just quit poker because you don't view poker with the correct mindset.

Serious NightFrostaSS mode OFF/back to trolling.

No shit private. It is clear that you have a terrible mindset and a first thing you need to do is to read that book I mentioned above or Jared Tendler's book. (I didn't read this, but from what I heard it's a good book) Otherwise, quit poker and go spam elsewhere.

Goodbye!

I think Tendlers book is little too heavy for this fella here. Meh, whatever.

Just checked myself on this Poker-Edge. Pretty damning but reassures me that I have improved as a player. I pissed away a fair bit of money playing badly at FL about 18 months ago. Changed name and played at other sites but now back at Pokerstars. This is how I am described:

"Mouse - As the name suggests, he plays timid. He is tight and passive, preferring to call or fold instead of betting and raising."

The last 10 hands they site at showdown have me up $15.23 @NL10 so I guess I'm doing much better now. I wonder how many more hands I'd have to play before these sites change their opinions of me :). Shows that if you keep your mindset in check and are willing to learn, you can turn things around. Keep your head up Jeszkar.

well it's all about stats. if your aggression level is above 50 you be marked as aggressive.

it's not about your winnings

But at least I find out the TAG strategy worth almost nothing. When I sit down a tabble. I only see people with lots money who have relativly high VP and relativly low PR and AF. This made me think maybe this TAG strategy is not very good on mincros. TAG startegy build that you can win with medium made hand. Yes sometime can, but because almost always there is a player who play any playable hands, most of time the medium made hands worth not much. (anyway I sure the LAG work even less on micro).

So now I think I will use my last couple of dollar for a MTT, it's the same money blowing away as the cash game but at least at MTT there is bigger price. The only thing which annoy me the month what I spend to learn to become an online player. Now I think it was a waste of time.

So that is my end of online poker career I think. There's not much can do anymore.

Delete pokerstars now, thats the only thing left :)

Well, now I'm a little happier. I manage to pass all of my exam, I wactch some great movie which I miss from the past year and my next short will have a premier in a local small cinema. So there are some good thing which happened in my life.

But I still think this strategy is a recipe for a disaster. On paper it sounds awesome. Play with only good hand and the fishes pay with marginal or worse hands. But this doesn't work when with wide range they most a time find some very strong hand. Sound weird but true, wide range = more comination = more chance. It's not supposed to be like this, but looks like it is.

jeszkar, are you saying that the tens of thousands of players that went through microstakes with a good winrate playing TAG and that are now good players in higher stakes were just lucky? And are you saying pokerstrategy's strategies don't work?

The evidence is against you on this... Many things could have gone wrong in your game, that doesn't mean TAG doesn't work. You could have been in a downswing, you could have some leaks that made you lose a lot of money, etc...

I remember I took a lot of months to get out of a very low winrate, and that's because I had a few leaks that made me lose a lot of money.

I suggest you go easy on poker and concentrate on the stuff that you enjoy more. Like watching movies.

Played NL5 break even for 6 months (100 000 Hands) before beating it. Started as a complete newbie.

Now I play NL30, moving up to NL50.

Main problem I had was consistency. It's easy to play good one session, but playing every session right is the difficulty. One bad call can make a positive session a negative. I just got my AHA-moment and i just.. understood. (Still playing NL30, but anyway)
It can be so frustrating getting raised 5 times in a row on the river flush card by the passive fish in one session. But when you have to fold, you have too. You're in it for long time, not short time.

I gotta say I was about to give up a few times, but love the game so I really invested some time into enhancing my game. But it can be really frustrating, I can understand. And i think if you're not willing to invest more time into it, its perfectly okay to spend your time doing something else!

Please do yourself a favour. When you see someone, who you consider being a winning player - loose with deep stack, google his nickname and find his stats and some info. Most of them have profits -1k cash over half hundred thousand hands.
