1) I changed my layout to the pokerstrategy layout but those people are still sitting at the table instead of just blank table images.
Its more like half the pokerstrategy layout and half the partypoker layout.

2) In how many hands / how much time should I be able to reach .50/1 tables if I play Limit Hold'em by the chart and by the procedures?

1) you have to switch offthe people in the partypoker software.
go to "games & rules options" then "videos and audio options" and unmark "chartakter on/off"
2) the variance in this game is so huge that this can not be said. it can be 5000 it can be 10000 more or less .... it depends on your skills and your luck. just start playing after the rules and you will reach it in the near future

Putting those people off is a big help for multitabling cause all the graphics made my head hurt, took me a few seconds every time before I realised where I was sitting.

Nope its not. But it is just a question of time until got it
If you have cards you can find your seat really fast.
The grahpics are off now and my BB/hour went up by 1 
I got really annoyed by them, it was like I was playing in a cartoongame or something
