Hello, reader.
I'm interested in your take on the following situation:
Since I mark a player as 'weak', I generally want to play pots versus this player, assuming, I figured out his/her weakness.
Lately, I found myself following players with 'mark' like crazy.
I play versus other opponents calculating the odds, considering their hands. Generally, I do well.
But once I spot weakness that I can exploit, my range expands to ATC versus this opponent and I simply play the player. It does work, in most of the cases. (I'm newbie to poker, so I haven't figure out the 'holdem manager part' and can't provide actual stats)
It leads to massive swings back and forth within our stacks... I find myself playing only one opponent at the table, and not exactly playing, better say gambling.
it's pain to give away 10-20% of your stack every time 'read' doesn't cash you.
What do you think, should I still strive to kill the fish or should I take time and re-evaluate every player at the table after hefty win?
P.S. As I said, I'm newbie. Please excuse vague expression.
