[Closed] Chess anyone?!

I think i can't play chess because i started playing poker. Now i can't think about the moves because i'll make quick decisions like sng push/fold. It needs some getting used to to go back to deep thinking...lol

Fantastic site.... try it out, it's relatively new and there are few minor bugs (like grouping buddies and stuff like that), great number of opponents with all skill levels.

I used to play a lot of chess when I was a kid, then went years without playing, n got back into it a bit last year. I played against some friends and managed to hold my own but lose mostly against my boyfriend.

My advice as an amateur... You have to think about the different possibilities before making a move, and consider why your opponent is making a move. You should plan moves ahead but rethink them if it doesn't go to plan.

I play chess at chess.com, usually 5-6 games at the same day (with time per move of 2 days). Chess is especially fun when you have vodka and a friend to play with.

what does the letters stand for !!?!?!?!?!?!??! i know e4 is the square on the board, but Nf and Bc etc??
