my first live tournament

There was a little 10euro buy-in tournament with people of my city, 40 players max and i descided to give it a try.
I finished 1st and you cant believe how good it felt to win at my first live tournament.
When we were heads up it was 45k chips for me against 355k and I still managed to win

i cant pay all of that ;D

Never play tournaments only!

At least you should be a regular SNG player and mix in some tournaments in between. I know they are fun and cause of TV a lot more attractive for most players. But learn the basics in the cash games... and see tournaments as a small bonus...

The best players you can find are great cash game players and there biggest earnings come through cash games...

SNGs plus Tournaments are an option. But in the end everyone even HoRRoR started with cash games and then switched to SNGs later (the reason why first SNG content is available in the silver area)
