I understand the whole thing may not be worth it EV-wise, but knowing you missed out on 80k really sucks...

Although I don't know You, but it is really sad to read that happened. I would probably take a couple days off poker, maybe from people at all. It works best for me to stay a bit alone, though all people are different. Maybe You can add a goal of achieving a profit of 80k by grinding? It would take year, maybe more, but probably that's a good point to get Your motivation back. And I would definitely contact ErikStenqvist or Schnitzelfisch for more advice.
