Nice way to play with small elephants. If it was a adult this wouldn't be possible I think.

It amazes me that the crow appears unafraid of the dog

For sure. Offcourse a dog isn't eating birds like cats do.

During the break in my stream, we have been watching an eagle's nest in Delta, British Columbia. We've been following the two eaglets from the time the eggs were laid. Yesterday, about 10 minutes before the stream started, one of them took its first flight. This is the video...

If you're interested,[1] here is a link to the web page of the organisation that maintains the cameras... https://hancockwildlife.org/delta-2-cams/

This would have made a lasting memory for these kids

I once came face-to-face with a bull moose when working in a forest.
I heard a crashing noise as of something large moving through the trees, and my first thought was "bear".
I couldn't see what it was, so I stepped around a tree and there it was less than a metre away.
It was a young one, and it was early in the summer. Had it been rutting season and a much larger animal I would have been in big trouble. Moose can derail locomotives if the conditions are right.

That for sure. It's tough to get in a situation a wild animals will go so close to humans

Especially the squirrel

Since the original post, I've been really surprised at how many videos are available the show positive links between humans and wildlife.

There is apparently a crow in our neighbourhood that says, "Hello"
I haven't seen it. This is not that crow
