Womans Day

I don't think this has something to do with poker discussions and I have moved it to the small talk board. Any way not sure why we need a day like this. You should always respect each other. If someone is female or male.

I would like to think that we need a day like this to draw attention that we don't always respect each other.
It also helps to get people to think a bit.

The cynic inside me says that these special days are an excuse to sell stuff.

That's the problem with Christmas and Easter as well.
It's more like a marketing than a Christian celebration now.
I don't think that was the purpose of this, but that's another discussion

My birthday's Christmas day it was great growing up double presents but now i just get a pair of socks wrapped up separately and happy B-Day written in a Christmas card to save money

Women's day ? in a world where women's rights are still a huge issue in many countries sure why not.It doesn't hurt to remind people and to give women that platform.

That for sure, but it was better that we don't need special days like Womans Day.
Time will tell if that will happen sooner or later.
