Dont know if it is just me or it happens to everyone but always when i go hoe for a weekend i am unable to do anything. One of the reasons is that ui am not boss of my time back at home since i got to help to my parents but mostly because i was kinda lazy person when i used to live here and i think that it is kind of habit to do just nothing here and it is very hard for me to brake it. But nevermind in the afternoon i am coming back to Prague, back to productive world

I will fail with volume for sure but hopefully rest of goals i will manage to do.

IN the summer i will be posting every day again since those last weeks were very productive for me so it is way to go in the future eventhough scheduling some free day sand balanicng my life better will be ultimate goal.

Quick update

:spade: Working for pokerstartegy

For more than year and half i worked for pokerstartegy. I have started with doing hand evaluations in czech comunity and this year we were meeting every on begginers coaching. In next two months i will finish the begginer course in czech comunity and after that i have decided to stop. Even thouhg i really enjoyed this period of time and i realized how much i like to coach other motivated people, it is time to focus just on myself. Little bit selfish, right?

I think that i have spent way to much energy focusing on other people and i didnt improve my game that much. That is why i joind at the beginning of the last month with BrokeSoBroke.

So far we had just three or four coachings together and even thought it is dificult to switch back from kinda gto to exploiting style of play i am getting used to it plus i am really enjoying grinding after long time.

BsB teaches how to adjust to diferent players so he forces you to use your brain behind the tables all the time and not just click the buttons and thats what i love about this style the most.

So lets make the change!

Next update will be once i finish my exams at school and i will start updating after that again, since during last few month i was fairly productive.

Stay tuned and gl at the tabels and real life as well! :f_cool:

Confidant, didn't you study with w34z3l already?
GL with BSB - I heard great things about his coaching from several guys!

Yeah some time ago i had few hours with him while i was trying to improve my blind play. But to be honest i like BSB approach way more. It is very simple to follow his advice.
Plus i really wanted to find a longterm coach since finally i have kinda clear vision what i want to do in next few years and since i wanna play pro for a year or two after my uni is over it is time to get things done and i beleive that BSB will be a huge help on this journey.

From what I have heard, and I heard this from enough people to trust the sample, main difference is that w34z3l teaches you GTO while BSB is more for exploitative style of play. Both of them have winning graphs, still play in today's game and coach a lot of people. Their graphs actually look very similar, if you have the chance check it out.
I never took any coaching with BSB (was considering it at one point) but instead work on the game with brutal reg (who owns NL100+ ZOOM on Stars) and with fellow reg who is going between NL25-50 ZOOM like myself.
I think overall, for long run in poker, you will need to eventually come back to w34z3l's style of coaching because GTO is and will be super important in future games. In today's games you can beat up to NL200 and even NL200 ZOOM without too much GTO. But in 2-3-5 years, I guarantee this will not be the case. Every good reg has CREV, Snowie, Flopzilla and such software, works in them daily and in time average reg will understand what GTO play is like and can easily divert from it to exploit tendencies of his opponents. While exploitative play will make more money most of the time in poker, when you get to the point of playing much higher stakes it will be super important to have more balanced ranges, bet sizings and be able to call off enough combos to make your opponents betting indifferent. I assume this will all happen 5+ years from now but since you mention going pro in 2 years from now think you should be ready for very hard road ahead on NL200 ZOOM+ in such period, before that NL100 ZOOM and 40-50$ hourly will still be reachable without GTO.

Look forward to your updates with BSB, perhaps some assignments you got and overall improvement with him.

All the best!

You are right though BSB is pretty well balanced as well.
Understadning to GTO is important for sure, hovewer nobody will ever be ably to play completely gto poker and still if you want to exploit you have to be exploitable as well. So yeah understading to GTO helps a lot since u know what you can exploit by yourself when you notice mistakes in villains game.

GL to u as well IvicaIliev77!

As i said i will start updating again once my exams are done.

BTW guys any tips what mouse to buy for grinding zoom? I used to have Logitech G500 and it died few days ago so i have to find a replacement.

So far i am considering g502 or g700s but if you have any tips on some other ones it will be welcomed!

Thx and stay tuned!

Hey guys, guess who is back :)

So far this year i am on kinda rl and poker downswing. It has all started with BE strech on nl25, than i had almost two month long period of exams. Not sure who told me that after you pass bachelor degree it gets lot better, but that it is not a true, it is pretty hrd as well. Fortunately i passed almost all my exams whith just one to go during the summer ( i was so exhausted at the end of the last month that eventhough i had time to pass this one as well i was sleeping more than 12 hours a day and i still didnt feel resfreshed so i gave it up).

Meanwhile i hit 30BI swing on nl25 which was kinda big for my roll so atm i am rebuilding and that is why i am going to rejoin bankroll challenge. :f_cool:

During the summer i got to get my shit together. I am gonna try to boost my energy levels with better diet and regular work outs and going to limit some distractions that are just wasting my time and give nothing back.

So far i started with regular cold shovers ( i have already tried them last year for couple of months and it works perfectly, just only problem with them that during winter it is very challenging )

Atm i am limiting my facebook for 15 mins a day, but i think that it might be better to add limit that i wont be able to spend time there before 10pm or something because i do lots of quick checks there during the day. It is kinda stupid as well since everything i need to know goes diretly into my phone, so limiting my facebook on pc makes lots of sense to me. The same next month will be with pokerstrategy forum since i spent quite a lot of time here reading blogs rather than working on my game

By the end of september i will have just minimum work to school so i think that it is good time to take massive action and set a new challenge.

In next three month beating nl50. Think that it is kinda doable with help of BSB so stay tuned lets have here lots of giraffes :f_p:
