Work
Wow I've been busy these days! I had to teach new stuff on friday but only got the books on thursday so I had to work for school on thursday evening. Plus I spend most of the weekend on it as well. Thank god I love my job!
100 years old school
On friday there was a reunion at my old school because it existed 100 years. Was a very nice evening with lots of beer
So no poker?
No poker indeed! In fact saturday (yesterday) was my sisters birthday so I was there yesterday as well. BUT I came home and decided to play a short session. I didn't play really well (couldn't keep my focus on the tables) Ended up running pretty good. So all in all good saturday for me!

Didn't play a lot of poker. Lost 4BI's in 2 sessions I think (don't want to check hm2 to often). Yesterday I had a long session again. Started off well, ended not so well 
Ran into some BS and some spew
Gonna review later on.

RIP Madiba
When I heard about his death I had to think about my host mother back in South Africa. She said something that has been very important in my life ever since.
She said the only thing that matters is "True Love". When you love people and they love you back will you ever die? You will live on in their memories. And yes Mandela died yesterday but he will always be in our hearts and minds.

Hey everyone
So I did play yesterday and the almighty Mr Gadget was sweating me. Oh boy did I play bad
I was getting fancy in every spot I could, was calling where I should have folded 20 streets before. The result you can see in this graph. (I didn't run to awesome either, not all is spew)
Today I played 100 times better. I was still getting funky in some bad spots But I'm happy with how I played today. Tomorrow review!
I also did some analysis on 2 regs. I made a ton of notes. Bit to much tbh have to make them more general.

I just had my coaching with BsB. He completely crushed me. Maybe thats an understatement
He went over my stats and just really told me what and where I was doing stuff wrong. But he didn't stop there! He basically told me, by looking at my stats, what my range was in a lot of spots and how easy it was to exploit that. Also pointed out that I'm missing crucial information because I don't have the stats in my HUD. And a lot more! We covered a lot of stuff in that 1h.
Like he said before he can't fix me in that one hour. And he didn't, never expected to either. But what he did was open my eyes, pointed me in the right direction. Now it's my turn to work my ass off and take all his tips and improve my game. And tbh thats something I was really looking for. I want to improve my game and I don't know where to start and thats what he told me.
All in all it was a very sick, but such an awesome experience.
BsB knows poker!! Probably knows poker more then poker itself does. It's a shame that he is running like he is

Just a short update.
So after the coaching I started changing my HUD. I added a some stats that I had nowhere in my HUD nor pop ups
Even though BsB told me what all my leaks were I tried not to focus on them right now. I know I fold to much in the BB vs a steal but just calling or 3 betting more without knowing why and what that would be really stupid. So I just played my regular game but tried to use the new stats and see if I could find leaks in villains stats. Result is… Well I crushed BUT I'm pretty sure I was spewing as well but it worked out 
Not going to review now, will do tomorrow evening.

Nope obviously not spewing as much as they were, so nice one. Now, just keep that going for a few hundred thousand hands please; job done.

I'm on my phone right now but really wanted to reply. So stuff I added is cb river and ft cb river. Also added 4bet and ft 4b. Added some donkbet stats and a bunch of streal, vs steal and vs resteal stats.
I don't what is very important. Tbh I think they are all important. We want to get as much info on the vill as we can. With that info we can exploit the villain.
I added this much because I want to get an idea of the vill as soon as possible. I don't want to raise first and then take a look what I can do vs villains.
I'll show a pic when back home.

Ok so this is what my HUD looks like right now. But I'll probably get rid of some things, add some other things… I'll see what I can really use and what not.
I've seen some people that say that you need a small HUD for speed poker but why? Ok you might be able to play a bit faster, but really you want as much information as you can as soon as possible. There is no way you can plan a hand after you've done an action.
Maybe I'm wrong But if I want to get better I have to do different things, this is one of them.
