And I prefer to use the passivity of the opponents not to bet too much with such speculative hands. So I just call preflop. It also allows to involve more players.

I was thinking, here are the hands that beat me:

66 (3 combo), 77(3 combo), 88 (1), 87 (6 combo), 68 (6 combo).

Maybe 44 is Villain is even looser than expected. So at least 18 hands beat me. But still, I think I should have bet/fold instead of checking behind.

Yes i think you should definitely bet for value on river. If he had a set i think he would be more aggresive on the flop or turn.

Like he said, raise pre flop but not for value but to get heads up against the fish as most of your money in poker comes from bad players. River easy value bet.But I still think that the pre flop over limp with T9s in position is much worse than the river check back.

Preflop: I'd rather isolate here, we have also position even. Plus MP2 ain't a small stack. But of course limping in ain't wrong, our hand is strong enough for even multiway pot.

Postflop: Raise pot size on the flop, bet bigger on the turn. But as played the river I don't mind Checking behind there, we ain't only talking about sets but all the 2pairs also got there which now are FH.
