#2014-015
Hi all,
I can't resist the temptation of playing in the Pokerstrategy freeroll awarding a ticket to the $33 deadline sat to 8th anniversary Sunday Million because it's a community event, and in the $11 deadline too as a depositor... plus I've misclicked ths morning and bought a Step 2 ticket by FPPs instead of an Omania one, which increased my chances of facing the variance of SM a bit more
Oh well, I had beat heyalisson in the HU championship, who then came 235th in the last SM (congrats!), so I do have some chance of getting ITM in this SM ![]()
Jokes aside, I'm known as 'not a total fish' (an experienced regfish). Though I've never specialised in MTTs (and most of the MTTs played were 4-card), I've had a couple of 4-figure scores here and there, hope that the ROI in the fishtank + possible overlay + rail equity (I swear to provide a detailed and quite honest rail) will be sufficient for you.
Plus the feature of the deal is that a big markdown will be offered to the earliest (so the most desired) buyers ![]()
Event on sale:
8th anniversary Sunday Million - $215 - $8M Gtd - Pokerstars, March 2nd, 14:30 ET (T# 868078392)
Pricing:
The action will be sold in multiples of 4% only.
Up to 22 shares are on sale. Each of them will entitle its buyer to 4% of my gross winnings in the event, including the FrenchDawg bounty, but not VPP-based cashback. However, the price of a share will depend on the number of shares already bought - 'early birds' will get a discount:
Price of a 4% share = $7.31 + $0.12 * <total # of shares sold prior> = $7.31 + $0.12 * <22 minus # of 4% shares left>
So
1st 4% share = $7.31 (15% markdown)
2nd = $7.43 (even if bought by the same person)
3rd = $7.55
4th = $7.67
5th = $7.79
6th = $7.91
________________________
7th = $8.03 (cheapest unsold
)
8th = $8.15
9th = $8.27
10th = $8.39
11th = $8.51
12th = $8.63
...
21st = $9.71
22nd = $9.83 (14.3% markup)
Example:
Investor 1, if buying the first 8%, should transfer $7.31+$7.43=$14.74, post that 20 shares (76%) are left and the price of the next share is $7.55.
Investor 2, if buying the next 12%, should transfer $7.55+$7.67+$7.79=$23.01, post that 17 shares (64%) are left and the price of the next share is $7.91.
The ordinal number of a share will determined by the last edit date of the post reserving it (so it's a good idea for investors to not edit posts but make separate posts if they change their mind and wish to buy more).
An exception will occur if someone withdraws a bid, in which case forfeited shares (the cheapest possible) will be refunded and return to sale. E.g. if investor 1 in the example buys 2 shares but then decides to remain with 1, $7.31 is refunded to him, and investor 3 can then buy shares for $7.31+$7.91+$8.03+$8.15+...
Please respect each other and don't reserve prematurely just to secure a good price (before visiting result sites etc.) unless you're really determined to buy.
When posting about reserving share(s), please state how many shares (%s) are left after your purchase and, preferably, the cost of the next available share, to make life easier for the next buyer.
I'll keep all rewards other than the tourney prize itself and the $215 FrenchDawg bounty. (I.e. all the cashback will be 100% mine.)

Spoiler

Lol variance... Only several MTTs have been played lifetime outside of PS and FTP, but WH is where most of the binkage has happened.
Disconnection protection: In an unlikely event that I'm sat out in the event for more than 5 minutes (excluding scheduled and deal negotiation breaks), I'll refund the stake money to the investors so that they end up freerolling.
My Skrill and Neteller are in €; I can also accept Paypal. Swaps are welcome too.

However, there's a spew compensation (a freeroll share in the Irish Open ME) explained here.
Irish Open progress
IO Cheap Seats e4.40 5th 20:30 T# 822526724 - busto A9o<KJs 10 bb UTG+1
IO B Stg 1 e20 5th 21:14 T# 821713502 - doubled up early: trup queens > KK, classic :f_biggrin:, then again trips vs PP (squeezed 55, hehe) so I'm now the 2nd CL on break, outchipping the 3rd stack by 4.5 times :f_eek:; after a dramatic HU, I ended up with just the BI+fee refunded, which will be played through as soon as I get the corresponding ticket from Paddy as a Tourney Championship prize.
IO CS e4.40 5th 21:30 T# 822533061 - busto CO AQs<AKo, it was sooted, 3bettor was BTN vs CO (though generally tightish) so I 4b AI as a semibluff.
IO B Stg1 e20 T# 821713478 - the key flip was AJo<99 (15 bb, SB vs UTG's 3x open); prior to that, I had double-barrelled A3 as a SB overlimper and then check/called it for 35%-ish of my stack on 25A63 and lost to 44 (rivered straight).
IO CS e4.40 T# 822603963 - I was rather tight until I found myself with 16 bb, shoved A9o from an earlyish position and ran into 88 and AK.
I 1-bulletted in all those 4.40 rebuyfests, so my chances of advancing were pretty slim, sorry.
