so i sat on a deck chair in nearby bar,
looked up, saw the sky with tree branches and drew,
quite a relaxing experience i must admit.

So, when will I grind again?
Hey guys, what´s up?! ♠_biggrin:♠_cool: Have a very hard tennis-training behind me, whoah, I thought I die there on the tennis court ♠_ugly:. Phew! As mentioned, was busy with work today and tomorrow gonna be busy with work and tennis too. But maybe on Thursday and/or Friday I can find some time to grind a little bit? Hope so! Looking forward to hit the tables again ...
While Primrose is busy staying on top of work and wreaking havoc with her laggy tennis playing style, I thought I would revisit the Punchin' Prim cocktail that was introduced a while ago.
This time, instead of pouring it on the rocks in an Old-Fashioned glass, I decided to shake it up with crushed ice and strain it into a martini glass.
Wasn't all that bad, but I thought that the amaretto was a bit too dominant in this version. Next time, I'll try increasing the amount of sweet vermouth for a better ratio.
But yeah, even though I'd consider it more of a "ladies' drink", I believe this one definitely has potential. And despite being on ice, it might even be an interesting choice during the holiday season, with its hint of almonds.

Replace vermouth with brut sparkling wine.

I'm using Cinzano red vermouth, seems Italian enough to me.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of those bubbly drinks, but creative variations are always welcome.
And speaking of Italian drinks, I'm still looking for a place that sells Galliano liqueur to add to my home bar.
The liquor store beside Save-On-Foods on 88th at 212th here in Langley has it.
It's a long walk for you though...

I didn't give up the search yet, even though my latest call to a local store resulted in a lot of "Sorry, what was that? Could you spell that for me, please?".
The store in question is within driving distance, and I'll probably pick a place over there to have some lunch as well, just to make sure that the trip wasn't completely wasted in case they don't have anything for me in stock.
There are only eight drinks left on my list to get, with one of them already in my possession, but it's running short. But as it is, I may already have the widest selection of cocktails in my entire town, right here at home.
Oh boy I´m tired ...
...fell asleep and just woke up. 
Proceeded well with my projects this week, tennis went well, but got a little pain in my right wrist.
Hope, won´t get injuries this season. That´s why I post this good-luck-puppy here.

Again a pretty nice troll-MTT-evening today. While last week I won the 300 $ Gtd. K.O. this week the other troll (Harrier88) was successful. Harrier88 placed 2nd in the German Freeroll, one the other troll (me) got lost early on the way with AA (vs. AJo). The rest of my MTTs didn´t go better. ♠_cry: Well, 99 % of my hands were unplayable. 
I was folding and folding and folding..... until I was short stack. Then came one decent hand like AK, 99, JJ or something like that. So, jammed with about 10 BB or less pre ........... and lost vs either random lucky miracle hand or just lost a flip.
Played the 2.20 $ K.O, a 0,5 $ 300 $ Gtd. and two "God of the Arena" (2.20 $ and 1.10 $) on 888, on Titan I played the German Freeroll, the 300€ Gtd. hyper turbo (2€), 100€ Gtd. deepstack turbo (1€), the 300€ Gtd. Bounty Hunter (1€) and 750 € Gtd. rebuy (2€, just took an add-on).
None of those tourneys went well.
In the Bounty Hunter I jammed post flop with JTs on a J-8-9 flop, one Villain called with 66. River: 6
German Freeroll: one Villain jammed AJo pre, I called with AA, board: 4 spades, I had no spade, Villain held the J of spades
In the 100€ deepstack I was card dead and then made a big rotten egg with AQ. Jammed on a 88TA-board in a family-pot and of course one of them made his random hand with 89o.
In the rest of the tourneys I just lost all my flips.

..not a really lucky evening for me ....
