A good week -- details later, but a couple of PLO8 DoN wins to the good so total now is $210.66

I may see if they have PLO8 MTTs to try

About time for an update, I think...

Well we went quite a way past that, so yesterday I played a $3.00 PLO8 tournament -- and lost.
Today I played some PLO8 10 and did OK losing about three bucks.
dropped over 1 buy-in in the first 10 hands getting out-drawn, but recovered (mostly)

So I've dropped a bit -- but we're pressing on!

New Record!

Once again I won a $5.00 ticket in the daily "Lucky Blast" freeroll.
I would love to use these tickets to play an MTT, but unfortunately, $5.00 only gets you into a satellite, so I end up using it to play a $5.00 blast.
I won a $10.00 prizepool game, which got me to $247.83.
I then played a $3.00 PLO8 Double-or-Nothing from which I profited $2.60 which got me to $250.43

The results so far:

I took a hit this week
I played some NL 5 Snap to take advantage of a promotion, and lost 4 stacks

Current max is $251.75
Current balance is 230.05

Could have been worse!

A Good Month

I didn't get it all back, but I had some good cashes in freerolls, and I turned some tickets I won into decent money.

Today was the first day I qualified to play the Lvl 60+ freeroll, which has a $6000 prize pool, of which I won $2.40 -- 588th of 9984 players.

Spoiler

Tomorrow starts a new month -- let's see where it goes from there.
This might go faster if I played more.
OTOH, I might lose a lot more <sigh>

A Tale of Two Hands

I've played very little since I last posted but had some success with "Blast" tickets and the Level 50 freeroll
Today's Giraffe:

The two hands:
Hand #1: Desperation Equity...
When dealt this hand I had 1 BB and 2 antes left, with about 20 to go to the money.

Thanks!
Bear in mind that this is over a year and a half.
It is almost all from freerolls, and tickets won in freerolls, where I cashed or won the resulting tournament.

888 has a new freeroll series starting, so we'll probably be playing more there...

Speaking of tickets...

In order to win a ticket to a $10,000 freeroll, all I had to do was play $3 worth of tournaments, and win a hand w/ AK at NL 5 or higher.

So I played a $3 PLO8 and I figured I would play Snap hands until I won my ticket, then continue to try to get my tournament buy-in back.
Neither went well -- but I did get my ticket.
Where else can you enter a $10K guarantee tournament for $3.63 --

After being down just over two stacks in NL 5, I pulled it back up...

The Best Result Ever

In a tournament with over 5K participants.

If finished 82 of 11241 (top 0.7%) today.
I got good hands, and won most of my flips -- and this hand helped a bunch

Congratz with your results overall.
Doing good!
I wonder about that graphs you post with the blue line where in the horizontal line are the dates and in vertical lines is profit and what looks like you have draw it yourself with blue crayon .
Did you do it yourself with some kind of software, or did you use some kind website for it or is that simply some statistic software.
I just wonder if it is possible somehow to create your poker graph manually. It would be nice to do so when you play on the sites that wont let you use huds. And those graph pictures do see like you have done them manually.
But yea, congratz 1 more time with your results, building a bankroll basically from nothing with free rolls and tickets and getting good results. Thats good.

Hi NextLevel,
Thanks for the kind words.

If you look as some of the earlier posts, you will see some tables of data.
These come from Excel spreadsheets, and after a while I realized that tables of numbers don't tell the story as easily as a graph, so I use Excel to create the graphs.
In Excel, you can save a graph as a picture, and that is what you see.

Finally!

I've not been able to log in since Apr 18, and have been working with my ISP tech support, and corresponding with 888 support as well. I'm not sure if anyone actually did anything or if the problem went away by itself[1]
In any event, I managed to play this morning's Level 50 Freeroll, and finished in the top 3% for $3.20, so a new record of $280.25

Check the hand of the day, for the "desperation equity" call just after the bubble burst.

So the graph as of today:

[1] Problems that go away by themselves, tend to come back by themselves
