Is there also a trick for MAC to disable Aurora?

i changed succesfully to the old theme but deleted my notes from the old version with the revo deinstaller

is there a opportunity to get them back somehow please?

Only if you had backed them up either by copying them or by doing a full system backup.

Edit: There is another way.
Windows has a method of recovering a previous version of a file.
I've never used it, since I do a full backup weekly, and an incremental backup nightly.

I edited the ini-file and i works pretty well for me except for one thing, I can't install new themes (I can only use the already installed themes). The installation starts and after a couple of seconds is just says "this theme ist not installed on your computer".

Any ideas?

when using the old graphics engine there are preinstalled themes and they are working.

The other themes like hyper simple won't install. I reinstalled Pokerstars and tried to install these themes but to no avail.

Where did you get the "hyper simple" theme?

(costs though -- €19 seems like a high price for a theme)

However if they can create new themes, it should be possible for anyone to do so.

I would be happy if I could just select a felt colour that isn't one of the pre-installed ones.

The theme you linked is for the aurora engine, not for the old one. If using the old graphic engine there's no possibility to install additional themes ...you can only use Mercury, Classic, Black and Nova.

I asked the support and they found no solution for that.

If there's a possibility to get these additional themes for the old engine, please let me know.

After the last update on PokerStars.pt, neither the LegacyPokerTable=1 or the ImgCache method no longer works anymore...

If anyone knows other method please share, probably it's gg

Could be. I'm not familiar with this and the PT client. You could ask the same question on the Portuguese forum as well.

And of course, you could always use Aurora, even if it is problematic and lacks features that the old engine had.
When I revert to the old engine, those features didn't work properly anyway, so I ended up caving in and going Aurora

I can't go back to the old engine anymore. Otherwise I would do that.

Did you try copying the content of folder "backup" into the root folder?

And then run the client directly with "PokerStars.exe", which is located in the root folder.
