Pokertrack4 and DriveHUD don't work, I'm now testing HM3 but I'm not optimistic. If anyone knows of a working HUD for pokerstarsMI, I would love to hear about it.

Hi turkeybasted,
Does PT4 find your hand histories?
Is PokerStars configured to save them?

Perhaps the problem is in your configuration.

Have you asked for help in the PT4 support system?

I'll move this to the PT4 forum in case the PokerTracker rep has some solutions for you.
If you have questions about HM3 you can post them in this forum https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/board.php?boardid=1626

All the best,
VS

All PokerStars clients worldwide basically use the same software. We have a guide for getting things setup here and I've had confirmation from other users that PokerTracker 4 works on PokerStars Michigan:

PokerStars Configuration Guide

Make sure PokerStars is saving your hands (PokerStars Client -> Settings -> Playing History -> Hand History) and that PokerTracker 4 is configured to import from that folder (Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Site Configuration -> PokerStars). If PokerTracker 4 isn't detecting the PokerStars install you will need to manually select the folder using 'Add' instead of 'Auto Detect'.

If it's set to save the hands then is PokerStars actually creating the hand history files on your computer while you are playing? Go to the folder set in PokerStars and there should be a folder with your player name and inside that folder would be the hand history files. I've seen on occasion hand histories not save to the default location (C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\{PokerStars Skin Name}\HandHistory) so if that's the case try creating and setting a custom hand history folder (e.g. C:\StarsHH) instead in both PokerStars and PokerTracker 4 (Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Site Configuration -> PokerStars). If you do not see the AppData folder in Windows File Explorer then refer to this guide.

Once that is setup you can test this on a table by clicking 'Play Poker -> Get Hands While Playing'. If you need further assistance report this to us in a Support Ticket with your log file:

Guide: How to Create & Submit a PokerTracker4.log File

and screenshots of the following windows:

1. "Settings -> Playing History -> Hand History" in PokerStars.

2. "Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Site Configuration -> PokerStars" in PokerTracker 4.

You can access the 'Logs' folder with the log file by clicking 'File --> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window and the file we need is the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder.

Dude I'm copy pasting the hand history directory immediately from the pokerstars client into the pokertracker client and it's not working. Both auto and manual detection fail to do anything, it's acting like the pokerstars doesn't even exist. And yes, I do have hands saved, I have it open in notepad++ as I'm writing this. Whoever tells you it works in MI knows something I don't, because this **** isn't getting me anywhere and I've already wasted 7 days of my trial just trying to get the POS software to actually detect the client I play on.

Hi turkeybasted,
in Rob's post are the instructions for creating a PT4 support ticket.

Follow those instructions and let us know how it turns out.

If you ask politely, they may extend your trial.

All the best,

Eh. HM3 worked immediately with no hassle and I'm loving the intuitive design v.s. PT4.
