Aaaw, thank you very much, Harrier! :f_love:

It´s not so bad, just a little flu virus, don´t think it´s COVID and if it is, then it´s very mild.

I'm sure Harrier has a cocktail that cures the flu :f_drink:

Not off the top of my head, but it might be a good opportunity to try a Flu Shot.

And if it's really bad and you need to stay at home for a while, how about a Quarantini?

Seriously, though, alcohol and the flu don't mix very well, as I've found out myself in the past. :f_biggrin:

Flu shot! :mdr:
I think it might be OK for when you're on the mend!

It is surprising that the flu managed to find a target with all the public health precautions going on.

In British Columbia, this year has seen the fewest cases of influenza in recent years.

Recovering fast as always. :sfishy:

TROLLS AT THE FINAL TABLE! Again! :f_o:

Yes, indeed. We two trolls (Harrier & I) found ourselves both at the FT of our "Troll Freeroll" on Titan. _biggrin:_cool: And there we clashed! When I came to the FT, I was the shortest stack. An emergency all-in with A♦ 9♦ brought me the triple up and kicking out poor Harrier with my KK (vs his AJ) brought me even more chips. So, Harrier placed 8th (Sorry my friend, gg!) and I managed to eventually place 3rd (made a terrible call).

Didn´t pick up four cards today, I missed my PLO tourneys. Due to daylight saving times in the US, the tourneys started here an hour earlier, I totally forgot that. Started my session at 8 p.m. and there were no decent PLO MTTs, so I decided to pick up two cards today. Like in the good old days, haha! _ugly: As I´m still not 100 % fit, I put again quality before quantity, but I have to admit that my quality with two cards .... urm .... well .... is not as good as it was back in the days when I grinded SnGs and MTTs. :f_ugly:

Played the Big 2.20 $ on Stars and a 0,55 $ Women´s event, busted in both, not used to no limit anymore, not used to two cards anymore... it was absolutely not my A-game in Holdem but at least some fun. The "Troll Freeroll" was my session saver and a 3rd place brought me nice 30 €.

So eventually, cannot complain. :profit:

I'd much rather have the chips go to someone who knows what she's doing and can ride that stack all the way to 3rd place. :f_grin:

It's only Hold'em, after all, I just click buttons. :f_biggrin:

Very well played tonight, Grindette! :f_thumbsup:

Exhausted Baby Peach

Finally, had some time to hit the CG tables, always together with "Baby Peach" (my avatar is also "Baby Peach")

and she showed again that she is a brave, patient and talented baby. _love: We hit the PLO10 tables on Unibet and a PLO25 table on Stars. At PLO25 we´re pretty break even, there´s not much to tell, a couple of pots won, a couple lost, break-evenish. On Unibet we manage to take about 4 stacks, about 1,5 we lost. Unfortunately I forgot to look at my BR before the session, so I just can roughly estimated that we must be around 2,5 - 3 stacks up.

We even had quads twice. Once quads KKKK and once JJJJ. _love: The pots we took were not big but decent. The stacks came from the nutfulls and a nutstr8. One stack was lost with AKA5ds, after not hitting the flush on the river, instead Villain hit his lucky gutshot (drawing on a paired board).

But altogether a nice session and happy to hit the tables again after a busy week and last weeks flu. _love:

Baby Peach is exhausted now, she tipped over and I think she takes a nap.

A little different kind of winning ...

On Saturday Harrier and I had our fun-day with the Troll Freeroll. I decided to play the 2.20 $ PLO PKO and the 2.20 $ PLO8-PKO on Stars. Okay, PLO8 was a little disaster. Busted early with A452ss, took a second bullet and busted with the 2nd nut full house (blind vs blind) on a hi only board. So, I decided to play a little CG besides my PLO tourney on Unibet. Could win 6 € in CG and min cash in the PLO-PKO, no one of us cashed in the Troll Freeroll, my session was break-evenish.

Decided to watch a little Kyyberi-stream and there came the "big" winning! Won a month of free Poker Juice use  so I can further improve my PLO skills

Quick little CG session

Today I played a short little CG session (1,5 hours) on Unibet. Noticed that I got a bit tired after 1,5 hours and couldn´t concentrate so well, so I decided to quit the session before I make some fish-moves :f_ugly: We have the daylight-saving times now (CEST) and I have to get used to it. It´s hard to get out of bed in time (as self-employer I don´t have to but I want) and I suffer a little mini-jetlag. Got up later than usual (was used to CET) and was a bit tired. Have to get used to those stupid CEST. :f_mad::facepalm:

Despite bad concentration: +10 €, one stack up. :f_thumbsup:

I guess going to one of the those camp where they teach you how to increase your attention would have an interesting time coming up with a name

Here they call them "focus weekends" or "Study sessions" or "management retreats" or similar bland things

Better than nothing..

Shouldn´t call my todays session bad, but it felt bad. I won some CG-tickets on Unibet, so I played PLO4 with them. One was blown away with A♣ J♣ A♦ J♦ by hitting top set, calling Villains all-in with KKxx, no draw, happily and then loosing to runner-runner flush :rage::facepalm: The other one went away by missing a combo draw. My session started already "great" by this and bad traffic on PLO10 and Stars being down. Eventually I could find 3 nice PLO10 tables on Unibet, and the rest went pretty unspectacular. Most flops totally missed, ace on the flop when I held KKxx, or totally draw-heavy flop. Just boring. My session saver was a nut str8 with which I could stack off.

Pretty boring and break-evenish +5 €. Better than nothing :f_ugly:

Baby Peach played well ... despite a couple of "car accidents" yesterday _ugly:

Hey, what´s up guys? Haven´t updated my blog for a while, the reason was a little vacation after Easter. No big deal, was a stay at home vacation, but I needed a little break from everything. _smile: But now I´m back at the tables, after a very nice vacation and a very nice meetup with Harrier yesterday. After a delicious lunch (we had Greek food), we started with a nice session of Chinese poker, pretty cool game, learnt it yesterday and of course our traditional gaming session, including Super Mario Kart. Harrier appeared to have a little "sadistic streak" yesterday _ugly:

I thought I could choose which races we will do and looked at the nice pictures and decided to take that cute little crown. I told Harrier "let´s play that one" - and already had a yucky gut feeling, looking at Harrier, sitting there with a BIG GRIN, saying "good idea, let´s play that one". Of course it happened to be the most difficult race, including the rainbow race (the most difficult one). As we also played out drinking game (a sip every time Baby Peach falls down, every time Baby Peach gets the rocket and every time one of us finishes first or last, we take a sip). So, poor Baby Peach had a couple of pretty bad "car accidents" - and fortunately we drank cocktails with not so much alcohol in it, so we didn´t get totally drunk _ugly:_ugly: We counted 18 sips only after the rainbow race _ugly:_ugly:

We found out that playing Volleyball inside is maybe a not so good idea _ugly:_ugly: and I also learned open face chinese poker, which Harrier likes to play online for money. There I had some donkey luck _ugly:_ugly: But we spent again a very nice afternoon and today we of course played our Troll Freeroll.

Played also the 2.20 $ PLO hi PKO, the 2.20 $ PLO8 PKO and the 2.20 $ NL Omaha hi/lo on Stars. My session started super crappy. Had to take a second bullet in the PLO hi early on and after half an hour lost with AA33ss, vs QQ22ss. The PLO8 was not better, didn´t have to take a second bullett but was pretty crappy as well. In the NL Omaha hi/lo I could at least place ITM and min-cash. And the Troll Freeroll was eventually the session saver!!! Came to the FT, even though in the beginning it went crappy and placed 5th! _drink:

Altogether, I could finish my todays MTT session with a little winning of about +8 $. Better than nothing, right?

Poor Prim has often criticized me for picking those Mario Kart tracks that are too difficult for her and her cute little baby princess, so I'm always grateful to receive suggestions from her. :f_grin: Like that cup with the cute little crown symbol, for example.

What she didn't know, of course, is that this cute little crown icon represents this game's "Special Cup", which is supposed to the hardest one in the game. :f_biggrin: But if she insists, fine with me. :f_grin: I welcomed the opportunity to play some tracks with her that she wouldn't usually touch with a ten foot pole.

And indeed, 18 sips were the result of the final race in that cup alone, following the rules of our drinking game. :f_drink: Our mixed drink of choice was the Moscow Mule, which I believe is a great pick for the drinking game since it's an almost 500ml longdrink containing only 45ml of vodka as its sole alcoholic ingredient, allowing us to keep playing for a while without getting completely hammered after one or two challenging tracks. It's also really refreshing. And Prim has learned to take smaller sips by now. :f_biggrin:

Nice job picking up Open Faced Chinese poker. It's really not as hard as it first seems, as you saw yourself - just suck out on me and leave the table, like those people on my poker network do. :f_wink:

And don't worry about that volleyball thing, I don't have too much stuff worth breaking at home anyway. I'm sure we will be a worthy representation for "Team PS Trolls" when we get to test those new balls at the local beach volleyball court this summer, looking forward to it. _grin:

Tired MTT session

Hey guys, got some great news: Outdoor-tennis season has begun! So now it´s clear why I haven´t been updating my blog so far this week. As indoor-tennis was not possible due to Corona restrictions, Homer and I gotta get into tennis a bit again. We could play in March some indoor tennis before it was shut down. This week we could restart tennis outdoor.

So, was a bit busy with work and sports this week, there was not so much poker. But today I could play some nice MTTs, PLO, PLO8 and the "Troll Freeroll" with Harrier. Was too tired after tennis practice to play more, it was a little session but not bad. Busted out of the PLO8 after an hour or so with A♥ 4♥ A♠ 3♦ vs some random hand of a gambler, don´t know the odds but I was favorite pre. :f_ugly: In the Troll Freeroll I could double up early but then got a suck-out KK < JJ. After a long time being card-dead I lost with trips. I got trips and inside str8 draw on the turn and jammed. Villain with naked ass-end-str8-draw calls and gets there on the river of course

PLO went well. Could knock out one Villain and found myself ITM. Could place 42nd which made my session break-evenish today (+1 $ or so). Nothing spectacular but okay. _smile:
