I cant tell you what is new, because I do not know the old one. But it appears to me that all content has been updated. I find the videos great, of course there is content which is self-explanatory , but this is the nature of such course.

I think you can see the table of contents also without registration. There is quite a lot of postflop.
I think the only content explicitly missing your be playing vs CC-ers OOP, but maybe it is covered in some video, I have not seen yet.

I've just checked the table of contents of the course and it seems they have plenty of materials for the post-flop games.
Thanks, it helped me to decide I'm going to upgrade my elementary cash course. I think I can still get more useful info from my course but when I get to play NL10 I'm gonna upgrade it.

Very busy couple of weeks. Work was stressful and intense. I could hardly find time to do any studying. Consequently, I should have played less which I hardly did. I was either too tired or too stressed out to come anywhere close to by B-game.
Looking at the stats, I played slightly less. I actually reduced playing on PS because I was pissed about the challenge, which was unrealistic and I did not even want to get tempted to try to achieve it.
On the other hand, I ran up my GG bankroll to over 20EUR by only playing the daily freebie. I am cashing it out now and putting it on PS. On a side note: I play only the freebie there, at least as long as it is relevant for my bankroll. I will definitely not pay any rake on GG. They rip off German players by raking the winnings and ripping off everybody by raking preflop. So, I play only when can do so for free. And cash out when I reach the threshold.
Similarly, on TigerGaming (where I never deposited anything) I am up to 52$, so I can finally start playing some cashgames. Unfortunately, TG does not offer NL 5, so I need to play above my current limit.

Now, coming to the most important. Getting better. Need to get back into doing hand analysis and off table work. I actually got stuck half way into the RYE cash game course.
The short-term plan is to get back to it and more importantly to look at the individual situations in the course and look into my own played hands.
As a first step I looked at the RYE ranges and my own stats and realized, that I play way too passively from the BB. Way too much cold-calling an too little 3 betting.

Week 7 and 8 report

I did not spend as much time on studying as intended, but I still went over some of my tagged hands after most of my sessions or the next day. Need to do more of that.
Looking at my stats, I need to 3bet buch more from BB. Playing all those "nice hands from OOP is very inefficient.

As intended, I reduced my Stars volume quite a bit. I will keep it this way as long as I do not have a rakeback challenge worth pursuing. On the other hand I played more on TigerGaming, where my BR has reeached now 70.47$ without ever having made a deposit.

I have finished going a first time tthrough the RYE cash apprentice course. It took me while Also because some of the situations I am revisiting on a regular basis. I find it helpful to review my game by looking at the spots discussed in the course.

I have reduced playing on Stars a little more. Acually, I am only playing there because of the BR challenge. At the same time I am plaiyng reg tables on Tiger Gaming. BR there has reached 140$, which is not bad, given that I never did any deposit.

This was quick week. Did not plant to post an update, but apparently my reporting rythm got mixed up.
As announced I hardly played at Stars. Not that I do no like the site, I just feel that I got the short end of the stick on the new reward system.
I am currently considering moving up to to NL10 as soon as I reach 15 buy-ins. Initially I wanted to wait until I am in the positive for NL 5 for the year, but with the current volume this will not happen any time soon.

We do one every 1st and 3rd monday of the month, which means this month that 3 weeks have passed since the last report.

I am currently struggling with a dilemma. Given the low volume I am playing, variance appears to affect me worse. what I mean is that, playing though periods where I am just card dead becomes extremely frustrating because these period appear to be infinitely long. I do not care so much about the losses, even if the loss rate is small or negligible, game gets a little boring.
I am trying to bring in some change, by playing on other sites, increasing or decreasing stakes. Or switching form reg to Zoom. Something to keep focus and motivation up.

BR challenge was a little (lol) on the downswing. Fortunately, we have "backup" on other sites

Hi, I'm in a similar situation.
Losing half of the BR is mentally a tough situation.
Did you check if your losses are on reg or zoom tables? Or is it pretty much equal?

losing rate zoom is cleary higher, but the reg tables feel much worse because of the longer time being on a downswing.

Interesting 2 weeks. I started playing shorter sessions. I have been mixing it up between reg and zoom tables, NL5 and NL10. Zoom has the benefit that I can just stop and review hands easily. Once sitting at some good reg tables, it isnot so smart to stop. On the other hand, when I play more than 2 x 45 min I start losing focus.

Quite often I try to explain out loud why I do what I am doing, in an attempt to force myself to a) player slower, b) think more about my plays, ....Sometimes I even record sessions, maybe I'll have some coach review one of them sometime.

Bankroll on Tiger and ACR is slowly growing as well- never made a deposit there, but I have hardly been playing there. Total is ~ 100$ not counting for the Challange.

I also do the recording thing sometimes, getting it reviewed by a coach sounds like a big investment especially at these stakes. But reviewing them and reevaluate them yourself could also prove beneficial. Anyway things seem starting to go better again

Well, I do not know if will ever do it, but it certainly helpd if I think someone will see the recording. I stop distractions, play more focussed, and explain. At least sometimes.
I definitely have sometimes sessions, where I end up in a state of "I have eo clue whyt I should be doing", or "everything goes wrong". So far I have not recorded any of those, maybe because I am really mre focussed while doing it .
Anyhow, I think it would be worth the investment showing it eventually to a coach
I play for fun, try to get better, and the there are expensive and more affordable coaches. But even 20 buy-in would be worth it in my opinion.

Up up up DOWN DOW DOWN. This is how the last 2 weeks were like. I ran extremely hot, was very lucky, played well, then I stopped playing well and running hot. Fortunately, I stayed lucky (+10 buy-ins above EV) otherwise I might be broke.

I stopped the streak by reducing volume, number of tables and going down in stakes.

I can tell if I play well or not just by looking at my red line. A monotonous downwards line is THE sign.

Thanks. w34z3l is a great guy. I worked with him before.
I am afraid, it is mostly a mental, attitude, laziness and lack of discipline thing. I realize it every time, when I am in a downswing and then really take the time to reflect on the game, look for leaks. Then I improve for several weeks, start wokring less of the tables, back to square 1.

As you can see, the quotes do not really help. I have tried before, I give up

Another weak demonstrating how undisciplined I am. I worked very hard, every day. Came home tired, most of the time in a bad mood. Definitely not the best conditions to play. And I still did, unfortunately. Some bad spells, like the session were I started by losing 4 buy-ins in 30 hands with twice set under set, KK vs AA, QQ vs AA. Overall I surely did not run hot. Not breaking 3500 point on the leaderboard is a sign, is it not?

I have written before, that play too fast and click buttons too much, especially when calling large bets OTT and OTR. I have reinstalled StarsCaption, which can be used to block the "call" and "raise" button for a predefined amount of time. I think it helped a lot in forcing me to take my tim and think about my decision better.

I was a bit lazy updating, but here I am again.

I feel quite good about my game. I do not always play under the best of conditions, but I feel like I have stabilized my game on a good level. Taking more time for Turn and River decisions (with the help of StarsCaption) has helped a lot. Win rate is not really any good, but it is not the result which matter, but the decision.

On the other hand, I have been extremely lucky. I am runnning more 20BI over EV for the year.
