I withdrew about $200, so that I have $1000 left exactly, and so that I can order a nice chair for playing poker. I don't have a good chair atm.
And I can set a new challenge from $750 to $3750 soon. 1k to 5K seems too daunting and I will need some more money to create a better workarea and other things soon.
For now, I'll be playing $2-$5 hypers mostly with $1000. Tighter BRM, I want to make this work, and not lose everything I won.

Yesterday I played a few cash game hands at nl$10 regular tables. I used to play fastfold, but I will probably have much better results at regular tables.
So right now I'm mainly playing hyper mtts, but it can change. Might get bored with them for a while, and something else may seem attractive. However, compared to cash-games, now I see that there are a lot worse mtt players than at the cashgames, more money to be won if you have the bankroll.
I don't mind taking a shot at a higher buyin when I just made a nice winning, also for the experience! And that's what happened with some of these winnings as well, so I got lucky with that.
I will not go and play higher buyins, right now I have a nice bankroll to play $5's and lower, and I will try to grind it out that way. Except after a win I might try a higher buyin once like I said...

yes, all from fixed limit cashgames. after that i met a woman and went to work, first in security, then pianist, then help teacher at school, then support person for disabled children, then vegan stall seller. i picked up poker again this year as a serious career trying to move to NL poker + starting a gamedev business. i love gaming and computer games from my childhood so much. online poker fits in nicely to gaming

Hi Tony! Yes very nice to get some upgrades in life because of poker! I will cash out more and start a new bankroll challenge from $750. Improving is hard ... a lot of good learning/analyzing stuff things cost a lot of money ... so trying to improve while playing with playing.
Still playing 1 table at a time, so I have a good focus on it!

I think these speedracers are good training for the endgame though, it's like 1 long endgame stacks-wise.
ICM has thought me an important lesson though: the chips you have are worth a loooot! It's very good to win chips but really disastrous to lose some. Protect your stack like it's treasure!
So I want to think about my soon to be (after withdrawal) $750 bankroll in those ICM terms. Like my pokerlife is 1 loooong MTT, and I have $750 worth of BBs right now .... I am going to protect it and expect to slowly grind away more .... seek good opportunities to do so, because losing some is pretty nasty! And luckily this life-long mtt is not a hyper one! We have time to wait for a better hand!
