[Closed] NL200 TT flop set mono-board

This hand doesn't really make sense, I think the only hand he can have here is a flopped flush [High flush such as q-a high, a-j with 1 spade, or set of queens, in which case I think you gotta fold. Hands such as sets or w/e is raising flop or turn, only hand that u might beat is k-q however i think kq is raising the flop or certainly raising turn so its out the question.

It generally looks like he flopped a q-a high flush, or a-j with one spade and u gotta lay the hand down.

However if this guy is a very advanced player and you have alot of reads on eachother, it is possible he put you on a busted flush draw and shipped it in, however I really doubht that is the case. I assume you called in this spot so tell me what he had ♦

Post reads pls :), but generally i bet bigger on F& T. Against this shortie you're all in by the turn. Against a more competent bigstack, c/f R isnt the worst option :/. He wont turn that many worse made hands into bluff and lots of hands beat you now.

Makes sense, thx a lot! ♠_cool: I did not realize that actually check/folding river is OK as you don´t pay to better hands and worse made hands generally check behind hoping you are on a busted draw..

I did not have any specific reads and was more interested in your view how to approach this hand generally. If it´s HU on flop I typically bet 95% pot on flop and same on turn.. And then if I did not improve I usually pay them off anyway ♦ ♦ (we are almost all in anyway). But if it is more deep on river, that´s a good advice to C/F river against normal opponent.

I guess there's not much to add, bet bigger for max value on flop&turn.

Just one thing: Why do you make it 95% pot in a HU pot but only 2/3 in a mutliway pot?

There was a lot of rl-stuff going on with family and friends (and no, I didn't just grind all the time,
in fact I played a total of 102 hands over the last 14 days ♦).
