Preflop: Hero is UTG with K♣ K♠
Hero raises to $0.75, MP raises to $2.25, 4 folds, Hero calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.85) 8♣ 3♥ 7♣ (2 players)
Hero bets $2.90, MP raises to $9.25, Hero raises to $31.02 and is all-in, MP calls $16.11 and is all-in

Turn: ($55.57) 3♠ (2 players, 2 are all-in)
River: ($55.57) T♦ (2 players, 2 are all-in)

What do you think of this non-standard play ? Any obvious merits or drawbacks ?

Hi,

If you have reason to believe he's raising worse on the flop then you should have 4bet small pretty flop. Why wait to the flop?

And if you decided to call pre flop it means you have good reason to believe he's folding a lot of his weaker range to a 4bet, which is the same reason why you should not raise on the flop and just call and let him barell off. Off course this board is wet but I don't think there is so much to worry about because it doesn't exactly hit his range.
