CO: $10.25 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 17, 3B: 4, AF: 2.3, Hands: 425

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with 8 :spade: 7 :spade:
1 fold, CO raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $0.90, 2 folds, CO calls $0.60

Flop: ($1.95) Q :club: Q  8 :club: (2 players)

I think it is well played. What are the worries? Do you think we should fire 2nd barrel?

just want to make sure i dont cbet in bad spots.
it is a cbet for value (protection comes toghether with value)

the worry is i wonder if i should cbet 35-40% of pot instead of this size

Oddly enough this is a board where BU should be checking close to 100% of his range. Reason being that CO's calling range should be very heavy on Qx (AQ, KQ, QJs, QTs) whereas BU's range does not have (usually) hands like QJ/KQ, even AQ is not an always.

OK, it is kind of clear for me.
I think what you are saying is that we would also check/call with Q on this board and this hand we should play like we have a Q.
Also what you are saying is that it is more important to NOT bet for value in order to protect our stack than to bet for value in order to protect the pot.

Next step is what we do on specific TURN cards if he checks back flop? (Delayed Cbet ,x/c ,x/f )
Flop: Q :club: Q  8 :club: , Turn is:

:club: - i think we should not be scared of club because he would bet a flush draw on flop ,probably
2-8 - delayed cbet
9-J - x/f
Q - delayed cbet
K- delayed cbet?
A- x/f

so no x/c turns
Please someone cotradict me !
