You call on the flop is tricky and good, if you intend to re-raise turn, but otherwise you are giving up initiative and letting him draw, so I'd rather go for a 3-bet and shove here, as he could raise with any pair really.

Unless you have some stats on him, he could have any pocket pair and J7+, so you really want to narrow down his range. I would 2.5x raise on turn as well, to see if he is drawing or has improved. That would save you a bet on river. If queen didn't help, he might check the river all together. If he 3 bets, then it's a whole other story...

But given the way played probably could still call the river, as the last queen actually helped us, if he flopped 2 pairs (J7, J2).

So, if we discard Qx except QJ, then you are only losing to 22, 77, JJ, QJ and AA. AA is probably unlikely, as he was in perfect position for re-raise pre-flop. Don't have an equilator handy - can someone put the numbers in? You should be ahead about 80% of time..

preflop is fine
flop like bet but think would 4bet shove here

as played shove turn every time , no idea what you think he has beating you , two pair combination dont add up or set Js , so only cards to worry about are 2s/7s and that dont add up on flop

Raise bigger pre flop, even 4x is ok at micro to discourage a multiway pot. All in on flop or even on the turn. Also BB's bet sizing on river is small. Seeing as you called a re-raise on the flop and a 3/4 pot bet on the turn, his river bet should be big if he is betting for value - as you clearly have a good hand. He probably has Jx a lot of the time, maybe even 2 pair and got counterfeited on the river. As played i think river is a call.

Only hands i would worry about is 77 and 22 but a reraise with those hands on such a dry flop makes no sense. Then again we don't know how bad villain is to make assumptions.

You should raise more preflop, at least 3x. The "Raise 2,5x" is meant for smaller stacks, not for MTTs in general.

Against most opponents I would then 4bet the flop, because if they have something on the flop, you want to get it in right then, before a bad turn card hits.
If you have a bluffy read or guess on the opponent, you can call the flop and then calldown to let him bluff more.

As played I would call the river. The river card really doesn't change a lot. (Would he have a Q when he raises the flop?). He either had a set on the flop already, is bluffing or some other braindead hand.

Thanx for the replies!

Could you explain why you "Against most opponents would 4bet the flop and get it in right then"? Seems to me that if we are all in on the flop for 100bb with KK here they are going to show up with a set 90% of the time..(?)
Of the hands we beat, is not AJ almost the only hand we can hope they will put in 100bb with on the flop? No draws to protect against either with a 4bet on flop.
Thanx

You are right that it shouldn't be an auto-broke with KK here because we are so deep. Especially vs other regulars or tight players I would not get it in.
But this is the early stage of a rush tournament. I doubt it very much that you will be 90% vs sets. And you should not only count the hands which get it in on the flop, but also those who call our 4bet (and then maybe calldown).

Maybe it didn't sound like that in my first post, but I'm perfectly fine with only calling the flopraise (since we are IP).

Is not cbetting here an option at all? Quite a dry board, and it would induce all worse hands and even bluffs to bet turn/river.

Not cbetting would still be a big mistake on a dry board.
Most players on lower limits are very passive, so we have to try to get value with our own bets.
And to maximize our value we have to try to get as much as possible from his good hands, not a bit value from as much hands as possible.
He might bluff the turn for about ~100-150, but against some good hands we miss a whole ~500-100 additional valuebet on the river.
