I called the turn bet because I thought with my increased outs that it was the right play. Now thinking about it I think I should just have folded

Nah, I doubt that your outs really increased there. You might even have reversed implied odds there. I'd rather be inclined to fold on turn, I doubt that we are ahead there against UTG 2nd barrel range. If he had a draw he would be most likely Checking behind there.
