This hand really confused me. He probably flopped a set but why such a big bet on the river when the queen could already put me off calling any bet.

Well, I am pretty sure the guy had a flush there. Nothing much you can do, just I don't get sometimes those kind of reg-stat type of guys who play such style against reg-player. Reg would never Call such a shove there. Plus he ain't never bluffing there.
