I've just seen i posted this in the wrong hand judging forum.

This is a fantastic flop to be shoving all in on.

Let's look at the important thing, which is your equity.

Against a set...

board: Tc 9h 2s

Qc Jc Qd Js 40.98%
9s 9c 7c 5s 59.02%

But once we factor in a third guy with his garbage hand...

board: Tc 9h 2s

Qc Jc Qd Js 31.23%
9s 9c 7c 5s 51.05%
Jd 5d 8s 4c 17.72%

As you can see, your chance of winning drops but your equity increases. 41% of a $22 pot is $9 but 31% of a $32 is $10. But what this all means is as soon as money has already gone in to the pot, you cannot fold such a strong hand (as this would be losing you money in the long term).

This is all pretty much worse case scenario for you, and you still have correct odds. Sometimes however you are favourite...

board: Tc 9h 2s

Qc Jc Qd Js 52.66%
T 9 * * 47.34%

Here you are against top 2 pair...

So yes, sticking all your money in to the middle of the pot with this hand is absolutely fine. :f_biggrin:
