The Golden Rules of Strategy Discussions

Be Professional and helpful: You are part of the team at the worlds biggest Poker School and your conduct is very important to the image that we have from our users. Be mindful of what you say and how it is perceived.

Provide good coverage and response times: Evaluate the oldest threads first. After posting a hand members will regularly check back over the next 24 hours to see your response. If the thread gets lost or gets a poor response time, then they are unlikely to be motivated to keep posting hands. Likewise if you are quick in your responses then the users will be more likely to post more hands.

Show passion and induce discussions: You show interest and passion about the game in every response you give. Sometimes it's better to ask a question than to post an answer...
By posting your own hands you support the vision of the forums being discussion oriented rather than evaluation boards whilst increasing the traffic. Advanced members will be inclined to reply to threads made by coaches meaning that it will help your own game too. Win-Win.

Always speak in ranges: It is important that our members start thinking about poker in the right way. Thinking of ranges is a critical part of playing poker and you must encourage this in your replies. Although it is fine to write that the opponent could have X, Y and Z hands if you do want to use a tool to visualize the ranges then you can use PokerStrategy.com Equilab.
