Basically, calling IP is okay and hope to hit the flop but im not inlove with it. If you 3bet a standard size you only have just over the pot behind so if you 3bet yu have to shove, and the only other option is folding.

So reshove to either get your oppentant to fold a decent amount of equity against you, or get max value from your hand because yu wanna see all 5 cards (yeahh sometimes your behind but your ahead from his opening range)

Or yu think hes a massive nit and is only doing this with a range that your behind fold..

Calling is the worst option but its not completely horrible, its close to folding if your unsure about his range.

I move your hand to the hand evaluation board (where it belongs).
Later on I will judge it as well.

What is the actual situation?
There are several limpers and one guy decides to take a step at the dead money and attack the pot with a reasonable betsize.

We have AKo and ~60BB from CO. Why should we shove it? Oo
The most reasonable play would be a normal 3bet imo. 3bet to 880 chips and wait for his action. This way you give him the opportunity to push his worse hands over the top because he thinks you might still fold. If you push directly he will call something like AQs+, TT+. Not the best range if you are holding AK. Furthermore you loose value against hands like AJ or AQo that might fold on a push, but will most likely push themeselves if you 3bet.

A call would be possible as well. This very much depends on your personal preferences and postflop skills.

Asaban
