we obviously fold if your assumptions are true. the main issue is whether they are true. Don't forget QQ checks the Flop a fair amount of the time to slowplay. A bad thing about him being tight is that he doesn't have worse TX. ATs at the very most which also has you beat but then again that's only one combo.

I think i could find a fold if my sample size was larger and I had a very good understanding of his barreling frequencies, as well as his opening range from UTG.

For example if he opens here like 8%, I'm never putting him on TX ever so it's either he has QQ or air like AsJs and AsKs, and you know that he's never 3barreling in this instance after you call twice and have so many TX in your range.

But I think that's almost never going to happen. Definitely have to call with busted draws. I still think it's not out of the question for such a tight guy to have T9s and JTs while folding smaller pocket pairs.

Maybe you beat 2 combos of T9s/JTs and lose to QTs/ATs (2 combos), 3 combos of QQ and split with one combo of KTs.

I think this is a spot where you cannot be so sure about your assumptions so I would lean towards calling when I am close to the top of my range.

What's the plan with the Check overall, I mean Check/Raising would make our hand pretty much faced up, so we can't do it. Nor of course we don't want to see so many cards to appear on the turn which may improve their ranges as SD/FD. Therefore I'd be willing even to lead out the flop whilst I expect very often Qx/overpairs/draws are able to Call you.

Though as played I'd be leaning towards folding the hand if I assume his 2nd barreling range is pretty much leaning towards nutted hands with such a sizing. Especially as you say rock, though those rocks may also overplay their overpairs, don't you think so?
