Opponent is 29/27/17.1 over 140 hands

Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

MP: $10.16 (101.6 bb)
CO: $11.46 (114.6 bb)
BTN: $23.37 (233.7 bb)
SB: $11.18 (111.8 bb)
BB: $8 (80 bb)
Hero (UTG): $35.99 (359.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8 8
Hero raises to $0.30, MP folds, CO raises to $0.90, 3 folds, Hero raises to $2.35, CO raises to $11.46 and is all-in, Hero calls $9.11

1) Is it ok to 4bet fold this hand here (should I 4bet at all)

2) What would be a minimum 4b call range vs an opponent like this, and better yet how do I construct one

Thanks

Hello,

By 4-betting you turn your hand into a bluff, simply, and you won't be able to play 88 or other non-premium pp's profitable this way. You should just call that 3-bet or fold, but I'd prefer calling and reevaluating the flop and turn, even if we are OOP.

Hello adamall,

Go for call and play for set-mining here mainly or postflop. 4betting and going broke here is clearly overplaying your hand. :(

Best Regards.
