flop: i'd definitely 3bet, it's not that easy for CO to hold 2pair+ here. and he might slowplay those hands occasionally, etc. gigantic multiway pot, i think it's a mistake to wait till turn /get scared
as played, i like the turn c/c and i'd c/c river too for one bet

3-bet on the flop I think is good

The CO can easily be drawing or have a 9 or 7 and we get to ram money into the pot while we're ahead and not allow him to do something like try and free card the turn.

As played I think this is fine, once the 8 hits on teh river all the draws have hit and our likelihood of being ahead has plummeted. Just check and hope it goes x/x/x/x and we win.

What kind of range do you give CO that you believe there is no point in raising the turn as played? Especially with the other 2 players (who can produce a lot of dead money for us)... I don't know why you'd want to just call this turn as played. Obv flop 3bet would be much better.

To be fair I only had 54 hands on the guy, but seeing his 0.18 AF/12 AFq (raised one flop out of 16) I excluded all drawing hands and thought he'd have overpair+.

Honeystly, my logic was that the pot is huge, I'm behind against CO and that I can't force anyone out of the pot, can't charge draws because I'm behind and have no idea what should I do and based on what so I was like "I give up, let's just see a cheap SD".

This hand is a good example of similar spots in which I'm lost.

You can win by charging draws even if behind. E.g. if you have 30%, your opponent has 40%, and the other two share the other 30%, jamming will be +EV (since you have more than the average equity). Also, I don't think he has that many overpairs, given his preflop play, and also passive fish are passive cause they slowplay. Oh, and 54 hands is not a sample size. 1 out of 16 flop raise can mean that he ran badly and got into multiway pots in the last 54 hands. Putting him on such a strong range is a big stretch.
