Hi McFly,

Preflop: Villain folds a lot to 3-bet so 3-betting AQ here would be as a bluff. Thus calling becomes a better option as his range is still wide (17%).

We should look at betting bigger on the turn as he rarely has a strong hand once checking back and it's mostly weaker Qx or draws or smaller pairs that can call more.

On the river I think we should be the ones betting 1/2 pot.

Why do we check/call?

ty,

"Why do we check/call?"

because our hand history.
i think postflop he do not miss bet with Qx, and he usually fold Ax overcards on turn.
I wanted to generate bluff from pockets, wich called on turn. This A (club) river was a scared card for me in his opinion.

He seems like a passive guy overall so I think he checks back pretty much any pair there.

I agree thought that the Ac is a super scare card so we can't bet much more than 1/2 pot.
