hi,

- my 3 bet size usually about 0,9-1. Was a big mistake 3betting to 0,8?
I think, my missed betsize could generate lighter 4 bet activity from BTN. What is his 3bet size telling us?
- could I calculate with FE?
- what is BTN's cold 4bet range? (i think, 99+,AQs+,AKo)
- my other problem, is that UTG's open raise is not so loose.

BTN

UTG:

Boss $10.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players - View hand 2097596
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Hero (CO): $30.77
BTN: $9.85
SB: $10.05
BB: $11.31
UTG: $10.00

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is CO with J :spade: J :diamond:
UTG raises to $0.25, Hero raises to $0.80, BTN raises to $1.95, 3 folds, Hero raises to $30.77, BTN calls $7.90 all in

Flop: ($20.10) 5  3 :club: K  (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: ($20.10) A :club: (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($20.10) J  (2 players - 1 is all in)

Hi McFly,

Preflop: Given that UTG has folded a lot to 3-bet so far and BTN 3-bets a lot (or squeezes) I much more prefer calling there and then backraising BTN when he squeezes. As played we are just turning JJ into a bluff preflop.

Even though BTN is loose I doubt he will cold 4-bet as wide as you are saying there. A lot of people, especially at these limits will cold 4-bet purely for value and it rarely includes AKo or QQ, and its mostly KK/AA/AKs.

So I would actually 3-bet/fold there. Afterall our move is strong for 3-betting an UTG open.

As far as 3-bet size versus UTG I would keep it at 9BB.

ty,

BTN is an Nl100-200 (winner)player, thats why im thinking on wider "cold 4bet" range...

I agree that cold 4bet means KK or Aces in Nl10

What's a nl 100-200 player doing at 10nl? Doing a coaching or?

Or how do we know he is playing that high?

IC, well unless you were having a super loose image 3-betting all over the place I doubt he would cold 4-bet bluff you or raise very weak hands.
