in actuality its non-allin-allin or fold.
just out of curiosity why would you use the nonAI in this spot? you're obv not r/f against any of them but are you folding if they both go AI behind you? even though youve got BB covered? I use nonAI only if there is at least two players behind that got me covered, but if there's only one i dont feel the need to since im not folding even if both go AI behind since only in the scenario of the shortie winning im busting. Ive started doubting this though after seeing your post so ive done some calcs. My ranges may be a bit off, but i dont think thats the point really:
im shoving (nonAI): 22+,A2s+,K7s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s, A5o+,KTo+,QTo+
SB reshoves: 66+,A6s+,KJs+, A8o+,KQo
BB overcalls: KK+
now two scenarios:
a) i fold - BB wins 78% (and im most likely bubbling out, i dont know how to count it really but what are the chances of getting in the money if we have 15 chips and they have ~1300 and ~1500, not massive probably :)), in the other 22% im 2nd or better (most likely 2nd since im a microstack by then)
b) i decide to call as well with my whole opening range - BB wins 66% (and im out), 33% im 2nd or better (and this time my chances for getting 1st are much bigger since its gonna be me winning the showdown 15% of the time, in the other 18% im obv busto but with the prize for 2nd)
so it looks that while we can obv use nonAI-AI, folding if they both shove behind would actually be a mistake with any hand. Thoughts?
well, unless i made some stupid mistake somewhere on the way, or simply my ranges are waaaaay off
