CO: 106.2 BB (VPIP: 11.02, PFR: 5.93, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 121)

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A♦ K♥

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, MP+1 raises to 10 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 7 BB

Flop: (21.4 BB, 2 players) Q♦ 9♦ T♠
Hero checks, MP+1 bets 13 BB, fold

MP+1 wins 20.6 BB

Preflop...no information on the player so I called. I though a 4bet would cost me 1.50 vs. a call...and a fold which would only cost .50...though I was almost 100% to face a cbet.

Flop: I seriously considered betting as I had 2 over cards and a gut shot but thought he might have AA or KK...which basically means I'm dead...or...He might have hit 2 pair, a set...top pair he likely folds but he might call straight draws......He's not calling unless he's got me absolutely crushed reallly.

Should I have 4 bet? I assume check folding the flop is correct there?

Hi Edukator99,

Preflop: What's the point of calling here AKo OOP versus a larger 3-bet? Our hand rarely hits and even when you hit you can lose quite a bit of money or not make any from villain.

Given he has 75 BB I would either just 4-bet and stack off if I felt he is loose or just fold.

However, I think that folding is your best play.

As played the flop is a fold.
