So hello fellow pokerstrategy members. I thought I was not interesting with my micro on unibet because of the zoom/rush poker popularity. So in the end I quit Unibet and went for Pokerstars. Was swinging from nl5 to nl10 and back to nl5.

I'm confindent that I can beat nl5 zoom. I have 9/100 bb's on nl5 in 20k hands.

this is a problem with playing maniacs, very often they will force you to play massive pots. in this situation your hand isnt great in a 3b pot. im not sure i'd want to face a 3b otf but im never folding so against a maniac i would flat and shove any safe turn. it should be much tougher for them to call with just overcards when you take away their hope of bluffing you.

but i dont think your postflop play was bad if you were sure you wanted to play for it all, its just less likely they will abandon their equity this way if they have a fondness for bluff raising the flop.

i think you played your set well. i would never fold the river given the amount of bluffs and worse hands in his range.

btw im nothing special when it comes to no limit this is just my opinion.

dont be annoyed about it though, just be grateful your playing someone so generous!

1) fold vs mp's 4x open, specially if you saw that crazy guy behind. as played fold to the squeeze (speculative hands don't play too well against maniacs), as played ofc overs are the majority of his range... but he can have better and he should fold most bluffs when you raise, so i think it's better to just close your eyes and call down, even if an overcard comes
2) either you calldown or just shove T, that sizing is the worst you could do. he seems pretty polarized when he c/r that board so i'd probably just call down to maximize value against bluffs, not much to be afraid of
