I want to ask an additional question. I sometimes have troubles playing AKs/o when 3betted or 4betted by deep stacks. Should I cold call their 4bet and play postflop or shove? Or if there are is a raise and 3bet before me should I 4bet shove with AKs/o against deep stacks. I know my question is general but would appreciate anything.

Hi vermilion7,

Preflop: I think you played the hand perfectly fine given the action in front of you (and money).

You definitely don't want to cold call AKo and play OOP with a hand that rarely hits. AK plays better when it sees 5 cards.

And when you mean deep stacks are you talking about 110 BB (like here)? If so that is not deep. It gets trickier after 120 BB usually and really deep you start at 150 +.

IF there is a raise and a 3-bet you don't really want to 4-bet shove and a small 4-bet is fine. Then it comes down to pot odds if u can call a shove.
